At start he uses a loop on his CDJ pulled right back to get the tone. Then to do his scratching bit he uses a trans effect on 1/2 beat over the tone moving the jog wheel a bit. Easy trick to do, sounds good, builds tension n the crowds love it! Go Eddie!

Thats not scratching. All he has done is create a loop 0n the CDJ, then shorten it so its a continuous noise.
