how dare they defile one of the best songs of all time with some rubbish about some american city, amercians think the world revolves around their country, makes me sick.
"Eartha Brute passed Ben Franklin bridge on her commute, through Walt Whitman Bridge the boat did scoot, and that is where she hid the loot. Down the Delaware, Eartha gave that boat a shove, with her goofy hair in the City of Brotherly Love. Oh, I detest that Eartha Brute."
There was another one that was just as good...one where Elliott Kerman imitated Elvis, and they turned it into a running gag for the remainder of the show.
Because I'm a college student, and The Beatles became popular at least two decades before I was born.
I developed a love for them after doing a report for my music appreciation class a few years ago, which basically focused on how The Beatles changed the music genre.
I fell in love with The Beatles a few years ago (not literally) and already have several of their albums. This was a great parody once again, just as you would expect from Rockapella.
That's so surreal:) I'll tell ya one thing...they've probably had A HARD DAY'S NIGHT being The Beatles for that short instant in this clip. They are good:)
You're not alone. The Square Scam was posted by another user, but it was missing the intro and the first clue and question. For once, I can live without that Season 2 intro with the title on the pink book and the caper scene. Feel free to upload it if you want to.
BTW, you can air the criminal dossiers from season 2. try to find some if possible. I haven't heard at least Eartha Brute, Wonder Rat, Vic the Slick, Kneemoi, and Sarah Nade's.
wait a minute I'm getting a Fab Four kind of feeling...

Haha. Great singing, great harmonies....
but...
can anyone tell what words they're singing? I don't think the verse they sing is in the beatles version...
xHaloFan4Lifex 1 year ago
@xHaloFan4Lifex They aren't singing the actual song. They substituted lyrics to make it appropriate for the show.

"Down the Deleware Urtha gave that boat a shove"
I'm 100% on every part except for "Deleware." I had to listen to it a few times, but I'm all but positive that's what they're saying.

Urtha should be Eartha, shouldn't it? I'm assuming he is referring to the day's thief: Eartha Brute.
mitmfan 3 years ago
Eartha it is, I haven't read or seen it spelled in ages if ever. I'm still blown away at how good this video is.
tysontomko 3 years ago
@tysontomko It's referring to the Delaware river that runs between Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
