My brother had a gold 68 that was customed by himself and his friend in the garage. When they were finished it had cragar wheels tuck n roll, black fur carpet and a 45 record player. It was lowered in the rear and all the locks key locks were covered and you had to know where the foot switch was to open the doors. It drove around the streets of Pomona, Ca. in the 60's. I remember it had a 352 police intercepter engine.
all chrome parts are there not convertible not original engine needs to be fully restored all though the body is very straight...... the Ggentleman is asking 2,000.... GOOD? OR STAY CLEAR?
Beautiful car.
It seems like the '59 Birds kinda got lost in the shuffle.
Their popularity is no where near that of other Birds.
Not many around....were fewer Birds made in '59 ?
I have only seen a couple of them in anything like running condition.
They are not the *best looking of the series but they are my 2nd favorite Bird.
(*people will disagree, and that is ok).

i found one of these car's today for sale!

me and my dad had a 1960 he bot in 1983 never did restored it but sold it in 2007 for 600 and missed it ever since
