  • You'd have to have as many arms as Gilgamesh to play this

  • Pleeeease make a tutorial i want to learn that song!!!

  • 3 dislikes from exdeath,zeromus and kefka...

  • Is this a duet or a solo??

  • @asianninja48 Solo

  • The start of the song is sooo hard to do at its regular speed. :/ I'll get it eventually.

  • But his is only 1:31 long ... =\

  • how can you play the arpeggio at the beginning? its too fast..

  • @koiwai108 With Practice

  • piano hero ? xD

  • Difficulty:Moderate

  • Sorry, this time the green line wins.... :/

  • thankyou so much sir for this midi!

  • I want to play FFV really badly, but I don't know how to get my hands on a version of it :( Do any of you have any suggestions?

  • @mechanicalpuffin Check out eBay, there are surely a used SNES and FFV you can buy. Or you could just type ffv download in google and download it on the pc...

  • @MisterMoes you need a psx to play ffv

  • @mechanicalpuffin You can get it for the GBA, it's an excellent graphically-uplifted from SNES version of the game. Generally they have it at any used old-school video game store, Amazon, or eBay.

  • @LQDapacman Hm that might work... Most of the available GBA copies are expensive as HELL though haha... guess I'll have to settle for that :P

  • @mechanicalpuffin

if you have aps3 you can buy it on psn. Or you can play it on a game boy advance emulator :)

  • @mechanicalpuffin There's a version of it for Game Boy Advance and one for Playstation in the Final Fantasy Anthology.

  • @mechanicalpuffin you can download the gba rom, or just look on amazon

  • @mechanicalpuffin buy Final Fantasy Anthology for ps1, it has ffV and VI, it plays on ps2 but you need a ps1 memory card

  • @mechanicalpuffin If you have a Playstation 3, you can download it for $9.99

  • @mechanicalpuffin Emulator...

  • @mechanicalpuffin download visual boy advanced and the final fantasy v rom

  • amazing :o

  • I've been trying to learn piano for about four months now and I'm finally able to play some songs slowly with a my left hand (I can almost fully play To Zanarkand). What I can't figure out is how to make a piano louder. I play on a keyboard so I don't have actual piano practice but how do you go from the quiet 2:02 to the loud 2:03 sound?

  • @DracoStoc You need an actual piano (or a special keyboard, I know there are some out there). It's as simple as hitting the keys harder.

  • awesome! thanks for the midi :)

  • ヤバい(*´∇`*) 弾いてみたいけどテクがない。

  • Comment removed

  • I feel cross-eyed

  • It's not possible to play this on a 76 key keyboard, right?

  • O_O My goodness...

  • i never got past the brigde becuse of the music

  • 1 m0:00reeeee tme

  • Your fingers are forfeit to me!

  • I think this can be played by duet xP

  • thumbs up if you kept watching the green bar and the red bar at the bottom racing...

  • @TheMlack bahahahahaha!!!!!

  • Do you think you could do his FF6 Battle?

  • slow version, please :)

  • UP GoodJob!!!!!!!!!

    うpありがとぉおおおおおお!!

  • Here's a new game... Keyboard hero... This is what its like in expert mode!

  • this video should have more than 5.000.000 views

  • Er. I'm not a pianist that's why i'm not so sure, but is 1:04 even possible? Looks as if there need to be a 3rd hand to run that scale?

  • @Manapool It's possible. You play the gren notes with your right hand. You hit the three green notes, then move your hand to play the scale.

  • @MisterMoes What he's trying to say is if it's possible to keep pressing the G Major chord on the right hand at the same time when you are playing the cromatichal notes in 1:04 . As a pianist, I say that it's only possible keeping the pedal presed, but it's imposible without it. I'm 100% sure that even Rachmaninov (the pianist with the greatest hands) couldn't have played that without pedal.

  • @MisterAlbertoPiano No, what he implied is that this piece is not possible to play. All of my videos are for solo piano, which usually requires: two hands, one foot, 88 keys piano and sustain pedal. As a pianist it should be fairly easy to figure out how to play a song by looking at my videos, no need to question the possibility if the piece is playable.

  • @MisterMoes Yes you're right but I was answering Manapool's questions. Physicaly it's impossible. But of course: we're pianist and we don't need to make those questions because it's very easy to know how to play it.

  • @MisterAlbertoPiano 5 months late but.../watch?v=xsQoBFYpLgw&feature=related at 1:03 mark. Its possible

  • @Kuraud0 I think you read my message wrong. I said it's possible WITH pedal (sustain) and that guy in the video ''jumps'' from one note to the other keeping pressed the pedal and sustaining the sound from that G chord at 1:05 (not at 1:03). I said it's only possible with the pedal, as our great musician Faint1pulse plays, but without pedal it's impossible because you would need three hands or, at least, a right hand as long as an arm xD (16 notes long). Look carefully how the guy plays it.

  • @MisterAlbertoPiano im pretty sure the guy plays it with the pedal.

  • @Kuraud0 Of course he's playing this piece with pedal (sustain). Like I said before, that part of the piece is impossible to play without the pedal. In fact, a piano without pedal is like a car without wheels, is very hard to make it move xD (except for some pieces like Bach's or Mozart).

  • @Manapool If you wanna see proof, then look in the suggestions colomn and look for this song by Faint1pulse.

  • @Manapool You need the pedal to play it.

  • Pretty good, but whenever its its about to reach like a EXPLOSION of music, it justs dies down...

  • @.@ my brain hurts from all the colors

  • great song btw i love it <3

  • Hang on let me get my 4 hands

  • @sephirothsxepher777 ask gilgamesh, he has 8

  • @riceslash100 six

  • @GENESIS2789 actually it depends on which game you play, he normally has 8

  • @riceslash100 oh i only saw him in 12 in which he had six sorry

  • AMAZING!

I am gonna look around this cluttered page for some sheet music, if you haven't made some yet, PLEASE DO!

  • 2 people sould go to the void

  • @MisterMoes Is there a slow version for this song? If not, could you make one?

  • @Nanertot you know, it is much better if you download Synthesia, its even more efficient... with that, you can even put in that any song on it.. just look for the MIDI version of it in Google jaja..... trust me.. is much easier... I've done that

  • @Nanertot You can download Synthesia and use his MIDI and change the speed it's free and has no viruses or ads. You can do this with any midi or song and if you have a MIDI cable you can play synthesia like a Piano Hero.

  • I just LOVE old Final Fantasy music!!! :D I like new songs too, (well, some like the theme for FF13) but you can't really compare them to the old songs.

  • man it's just the beginning to this song which is the hardest.

confusing for your brain to go fast speed like that and then go slow speed on the left with hard notes at the same time! this might take me maybe months to learn XD

  • Faint1pulse is indeed very talented GREAT JOB! i hope i can get this good someday lol.

  • 1:57 what witchcraft is this... i dont have a third arm to play that bit so im going to have to use my face

  • @imMIB123 Its called a sustain peddle.

  • this is like guitar hero but for real heros.

  • the green bar in the bottom is like following the red one in the bottom also lol

  • I still wish this song was longer because it's really enchanting, it has both a mystical and combative feel that eggs you to fight on but also keeps you aware of the precarious position you are in.

  • ok let me just get a couple more people and we 3 can tackle all them notes.

  • way beyond my skill...

  • hah. the green bar on the bottom is going along with the youtube steam bar XD

  • hahahaha look at the bottom of the video.. who will win?? youtube red bar or synthesia green bar?? XD

  • How is 1:04 possible? :(

  • @Shaded81 *looks at the right hand part* um....you could try that if you had an extra set of hands :D or...you could use a pedal ^-^

  • Wow........that intro is just about impossible... Since the right-handed part of it didn't have any doubling up of keys, I should try to play it on my sax. I have just recently learned how to play the melody of the FF7 victory theme, so I think I could do it. :D

  • you cant play this with 2 hands

  • @grandia09 possible Faint1Pulse 0.0 has accually managed to do this - look at his video!

  • sorry for asking another question but... what are the notes for 0:30-0:34?

  • @cswayliv There are many notes, look at the video, to see what notes they are...

  • @MisterMoes well, the video is going pretty fast, and the notes overlap each other, making me confused what the notes are.

  • @cswayliv Pause the video and play each hand separately, they do not overlap and use your ear to hear if it sounds right or wrong, so it should be possible to figure it out. Or download the midi slow it down in synthesia or download the sheets and read the notes. Are you able to play the first 30 seconds of the video?

  • @MisterMoes umm yes. im a little slow, but i got better on the right hand part in the 1st 30 secs. of the video. ill try your method of how to learn it ...

  • @cswayliv thanks for this video! just wondering, how many votes do you wait for before you make a midi and do you have some sort of a mp3 to midi convertor?

  • @cswayliv The sheet music might be handy here since you don't need to read the notes in context at first...

  • Must.

    Have.

    10-minute-long version. o_e

  • any idea how to do the right hand part in the beginning???

  • @cswayliv Yes, for the right hand in the beginning: 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3-2-1-2-3-5-3-2-1-3-2-1-3-2-1-2.

Hope that helped, just practice until you can play it fast. It may seem hard in the beginning, but you will get there with practice :-)

  • holy christ the beginning of that is nuts. I wish I took piano lessons as a kid when my mind was a sponge instead of as an adult when my brain is more like a brick.

  • One day....I'll do it, i promise !!! >=]

  • @7tonothing well, you haven't tried ff5. it's way better than ff7, and that says a lot! I love ff7 too, but ff5 stil pwns. it ties in first place with birth by sleep.

  • The thought just came to me while re-watching this.... how on earth do I do 1:05?!

  • @NobuoNomura Practice the chromatic scale, watch videos on youtube if you don't have an idea of how to do it (Lypur has a video about it). The sheet however suggest the following fingering after you play the G chord at 1:05: 5-4-3-2-1-3-2-3-2-1-3-2-3-1. You can just practice that as well. I can also suggest this: 5-4-3-2-1-3-1-3-2-1-3-1-3-1. Anyways, just practice and good luck with the piece :-)

  • Oh my god <3 I wonder if you can make one out of Decisive Battle from FFVI?

  • @yayMalene i thought he did? or was that jordus....?

  • dang, that looks hard!

  • OH MY GOD! I LOVE FF5. But everyone hates it... you're my new best buddeh. FF5 is the best FF ever!

  • @awesumsauce64 i say FF 7 is better. then again i say KH rules all!

  • can you please upload ff7 cloud smile(piano collection)?

  • Awesome! I can play piano a bit but I can't read notes even if was to save my own life so it's cool to see how this is done... I love this!

  • Best song in FF5(In my opinion). Awesome to see it on piano

  • Hell yeah, you´ve really done it!

    Thank you so much :)

  • my dreams just came true!!!! one of my favorite ff songs!!! thank you so much!!!

  • @ricthecoolguy Thank you for your kind comments! I'm glad you enjoy it :D
