seriously, the game begins with twinsen in need to buy a medicine for his pet, and it ends with him coming back from another planet and trying to stop the moon reactors and save his planet. awesome.

This game was and still is absolute magic. The graphics and animation for a game from 1997 are outstanding. Plus the plot was actually rather dark and complex but also totally accessible to kids. It even predates Grand Theft Auto which was credited with the launch of 'sandbox' worlds.. LBA 2 was a sandbox a year earlier!

I think the most similar game today is probably the Mass Effect games in a weird way.

In the real version (the CD installed on Windows 98 and not a file type LBAwin) there is background music in the scene where everyone is united on twinsun. This music is "the song of Gabriel" and the end credits is the music of the island of mosquibees ..

@foolboyv5 #1 is harder mostly because of the controls because you hit the wall and can not jump while running. Plus those rabbibuny clones are difficult to deal with. I found LBA1 better than 2 overall but 2 is more epic. Too epic for my tastes!

Amazing game with a unique look, addictive gameplay, and great storyline and characters - definitely one of my all time favourites. Used to spend hours just wandering around and not progressing through the story - this of course was years before the massive worlds found in games like GTA.

Have a look at the magic ball network (type it in google)... if you hunt around on their website you'll be able to find some patches that make it work. It's worth the hunting around!

I found that David Gasman did Twinsen. I've always been in love with the voice of Mungo in Lost Eden, AND that of Twinsen. Just found out those voices are from the same actor, and they also happen to be my two favorite games!

A kick in the balls for all those games where the "Hero" save the day all by himself making it a non-believable happy ending.

I remember the escape from Moon's prison, big moment, including a death.

Also the way Darkmonk's prophecy is presented, and how you reveal the last lines of it at the final battle :D

Este ending es de la Segunda Parte.

Los graficos entre la primera y la segunda son casi identicos sin embargo los fans adoran ambas partes debido a su gran historia y desenlace.

Lo que no hay es 3ra parte. Una lastima realmente. Aunque quien sabe, talvez alguna compañia redescubre este clasico :D

i had this game. it was epic. but the only problem was i got like, to the desert and started exploring lol,(by the way, i never got out, LOL)and also, theres loads of stuff to do away from all the main game. you can race that weird guy in the desert in your car. but still, this is one of the best games ever made, it may be old, it may be hard to play but god damnit it's good. bad thing is my sister (she's 17, im 13) claims it as her's. ill get it somehow. nice vids by the way. :D :D :D :D :D :D
