That was a nice point, very stiff, tail up I love watching dogs do what they were bread for. My Duke & Scahtzi pointed on their own, I'm new to "bird dogging". Do you find it hard to hunt with more than one adult dog, I found mine competing with each other for the front spot and often flushing the bird before either would point. Any suggestions?
HI there,yes my girls do often compet to please me & bree can tend to hunt of her mother but only when there is not enough birds i found that if i take more shooters and good hunting grounds it stops the competing to please just me.But if i'm hunting deer i will go to one area with a dog and my hunting frend will use the other one in the next gully they will point the deer on scent or sight .
it's feel at ease weimaraners.
