The film sucks but is very funny - but this particular scene was ery good - if the whole film had been like this it would have been good. Now bloody violence..I mean well acted and good tension etc.

I doubt you say the same thing about Bosinians, Macedonians or even the Irish in retrospect. Their situations are closer to this scene than people struggling just to stay alive.

well, probably Wells, as all other humans, was thrown around between his want for total freedom and his fear for the chaos that would result from that. therefore he changed sides a lot and that was hypochritical yes, as we all humans are. But as an artist Wells needed anarchism and as part of the writers establishment he was allowed to utter more critics than ordinary people do. Wells was a magnificent writer though.
