  • this is a great move. everyone that complains about this has no reflexes, intelligents, or skill to not get faked and time moves

  • Since he is blocking outside he isnt open, onyl from a one dimensional boxing mind it is but in truth someone with skill it is irrelevent if he uses the other hand to punch then tthe hand he intially used to block si still there and if someone sint limited by boxing strikes n block it is irrelevnt.

  • This fucking expertvillage,I mean the fuck did you expect??

  • brush the canvas!

  • note that a double alone with elbow high puts the right out of play...

  • this idiot is sending out a bad message to new boxers!! you NEVER brush out, because you WILL get tagged with a double jab, over hand right, jab right cross...and most of all its a very bad habbit to pick up.

  • That was crap. Too slow demo as well

  • yea this guy is a joke what an idiot if you dont know what your talkin about dont instruct.

  • this guy is an idiot what a joke if you dont know what your talkin about dont put it on youtube.

  • nick is jerkin off while in his stance. what is this idiot doin wavin his fists up and down

that coach is a fuckin dummy too

  • very bad try that in a boxing fight tell me if it works then ill use it...................NOT

  • If you're gonna parry , parry the jab with your right and land your own jab to set up a cross or hook

  • The cross is stronger though no reason to longer the attack or add a combo when the cross is there. Plus going to the outside it's better.

  • My bad he's actually trying to parry with the left I thought he was just moving, yeah don't parry just move out the way then you can cross.

  • the technique self isnt really bad... but because expertvillage is a show who show's HOW it works, and not HOW GOOD the fighters are.. they can do this much better afcourse.. this kind of technique's are good for using on streets only i dont like the point that the defender always stays in the same position.. when he stapts in it wil go much faster and more powerfull.. but again this show is to let people understand how the basic works...

  • lol my left jab is thrown then bak in like half a second u ent gonna catch no1 pushin it away

  • yeah. this is garbage.

  • jeez this is really terrible. this guy is gonna get someone knocked the fuck out lol. plz dont follow this advice. this is some of the worse boxing instruction i have seen.

  • ye its better to push the other way to leave them open to a combo

  • this technique is really hard to pull off. If your reaching your left hand across your body to parry the guy's jab from the outside, you leave yourself wide open for a straight right

  • he is throwing his left jabs about half a meter away from nicks chin... I want to see that brush aside if he throws it right on the mark ... lol .. never will work .. you can only defelect jabs with the inside of a glove instead of the other way around

  • Easier to just go under with a right uppercut. Instead of showing him the mistake. Punish him. Usually a jab is followed up with another punch, don't open your left side to this. Don't reach out to a jab. This is not very useful technique.

  • OMG there so shit. what if u fake the jab n u try to brush it off ur so open 2 get fuckd up

  • this is actually usefull.. put this nick guy is trying some weird peek-a-boo stance which only works with the headgear on for him but if you have a normal stance you can use this. since the punch ur countering is usually fast, only a small tab to the side is required. you wont change ur defence much. but yea ur right.. one feign and this guys side is wide open..

  • you dont ned to brush the jab asid. Just fakestep a little bit to the rigt side and com back again with the foot as you comit with the right hand and BOM, he will now be cocius off jabing att you. (forgive my speling)

  • hey this one is not too bad! finally

  • Never seen this one before, I like it. In a street fight though you might accidentally break your right hand on their head, since they'll probly tuck their chin seeing the right hand coming.

  • u know it's better if u parry with your right hand and come forward with 2 hard jabs.

  • Just take the jab and move inside, quick duck then right uppercut, or simply a good overhand right (you don't have to move forward to throw the overhand). This would only work against pawing/reaching jabs, innefective for short 'snap' jabs starting speed combos.

I think this is advice for the beggining of an amateur fight. Not for the end of a professional fight. I don't get frustrated when my punches are defended, I get frustrated when I can't defend my opponents attacks (I'm not a boxer).

  • yo what is u talkin bout

  • This boxing advice is not for professional fighters. It is bad advice.

Parry a jab with your right hand, and then move your left hand, so you are open? And if they are throwing a 1-2 you are going to eat a straight right.

I was saying that the parry technique won't work if they are throwing a quick jab and following it up (it would work if they throw a reaching/pawing jab. Who throws a jab and doesn't follow up with attack?).

  • oh nice!

ive learned all the punches + counters

    but not this one

    this one will help alot

    thanks
