Others axis lock won't do this. Tried with my benchmade 710, Rukus, Rift, even somle SOGs and Cold Steel that have some sort of axis lock mechanism : the lock up holds.
The "763" in the video is not a Benchmade, as it's utilizing the AXIS mechanism. Benchmade never outsourced the AXIS mechanism, nor produced this particular knife. For more info on Benchmade products, please feel free to visit our website.
I have BonneCollecor BM, BM 710, BM CSK II and a few other knives. BM is a great company and the knives are perfect, but those in the new series are able to make it! The new model is based on the cut, the lock for passage of the blade where the lock is taken and for this there is the problem. BM BonneCollector although it is a new model is working 100% correctly. Amazing knife!
I had the same problem with a Benchmade 730. The Axis Lock bar was not engaging all the way. I filed the portion of the blade that the locking bar contacts in small increments until the locking bar moved almost all the way forward when the blade was open. It took 3 times taking it apart, filing, re-assembling to get there. Once it was where I wanted it I lightly sanded and polished the filed section. After I put it back together the Axis Lock engaged to about 90-95% and locks up rock solid.
C'me on you can do that with ALL axis lock ...

Wrong. None of my 4 BM axis lock or even (sog's) arc-lock (very similar) will do this.

of course if you hit the knife from that angle it will do that,the knife is not met to be hit like that.
