The arcade ran on the Ultra 64 hardware engine, the same engine in the N64. The N64 got delayed, so they released it on SNES. Now think about this:

The Arcade ran on 64 bits, the Snes ran on 16 bits. The Arcade had 4 times the power. Now, after considering all that, the SNES version looks DAMN good for being 4 times less powerful.

@darththork99 I own the cart (a side note, Killer Instinct has the simplest PCB I've ever seen, it's literally the PROM, the CIC and a few resistors and diodes, doesn't even take up a quarter of the shell). The cart is a US cart so it's not a PAL problem.

- The controls are stiff (I'm using a NIB SNES controller made by nintendo). Jumping is off.

- The frame rate sucks (I have it hooked up to a old TV using RF).

- The game slows like Metal Slug 2 does sometimes.

plus that sounds were reduced (hence the echoing "ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA" as opposed to the arcades "ULLLLTRAAAA COMMMMBOOOOO!!!"

and lastly, the SNES moves were made less demanding and eaiser to pull off (larger time-frames for buttons) due to the D-pad...

Looks just like the arcade!!! Well minus 128 bit graphic card which was downsized to 16 bit. the camera that pans out to show how high the opponent was uppercutted into the air before falling off platforms. And they even took out the awesome CGI opening and the CGI victory scenes. But nonetheless.....ITS JUST LIKE THE ARCADE!!!!!!!
