The three movies were great, the only time anybody should ever reboot a franchise is if the franchise is going through hell, but Spidey wasn't and the three movies were successful, why else would any movie get a second and third sequel, Spidey 1 got Spidey 2 and Spidey 2 got Spidey 3 so why shouldn't Spidey 3 get Spidey 4 this is all just a misunderstanding and the movie makers should just go back too making a sequel and not a reboot and they should keep the same cast as well not different ones

Ok hold up I'm tres confused. Did Peter Parker orignially have to MAKE his web and then like put it in his wrist like the old cartoon? if so, his only super powers would basically be spidey sense and wall climbig abilities right? That's stupid! His web IS his like main super thing in my eyes!

no i JUST heard that they are making a fourth with a new spiderman,,,, pretty disapointed.. :( but i think its about carnage, not completley sure though. they named the guy playing the new spiderman but i forget his name and dont care enough to figure it out.

@pokemonrockstar45 actully it is! there restarting, so they can make it more like the comics, theres rumors, that the villain will be lizard. and to me that makes sense because he came in early in the comics. and peter is going to have a little bit more of a triangle like in the comics, but i think mj isn't even going to be in movie. theres only going to gwen, liz, and betty brant. "more like the comics." and spidey is not going to have web as a power he's going to make them.

They need to start from scratch. Get rid of Tobey Maguire and not cast people like Topher Grace as Venom. Now The Goblin and and Doc ock were perfect. Sandman on the fence but no Tobey Maguire.

they also should have made venom's character better. In the comics venom was a complicated character. he tires so hard to kill spiderman and you think he's evil, and then all of the sudden protecting innocents becomes his whole philosophy and he teams up with spidey to fight carnage (and he's still really messed up in the head and wants to kill spiderman). In the movie they just make him seem like a typical bad guy.

I think they should throw in Carnage....Shocker and Lizard to have big cluster fuck battle with Spidey...Hydroman would be ok but the last one had sandman and that was gimpy they would just edit over sand man with water and bam same movie

Yeah, instead of using that stupid ass Kraven, Wolverine and Punisher could hunt down spiderman while he's mutating into the manspider and let Lizard be the main villain. let's just say that Peter is trying to find Connors to try and help him,but punisher and wolverine are actually hunting down both lizard and spiderman.that would be awesome

Na, Daredevil wouldn't work out too well for a spiderman movie. Now The Punisher would be a great idea because he was mostly involved in the spiderman comics.But i would rather want Wolverine in spiderman 4. Or maybe they could put Wolverine and the punisher in spiderman 4. hell they never made a spiderman movie according to the comics anyways, so why not?

I'm hoping for just Lizard and Hydroman for spiderman 4. they can introduce Michael Morbius and just have him turn into the Vampire for an ending plot and make him the main villain for spiderman 5.

I would also love to introduce The Punisher or maybe just wolverine in spiderman 4 just to spice things up for the movie.I remember from the Web Of Shadows game that Wolverine was a very close friend to spiderman.I just dont want that damn stupid Symbiote involved in any spiderman movies. Actually, i think Hydroman will be the best solution for spiderman 4. Now if spiderman 4 can last up to 4 hours long, i'd say go ahead and get Peter and MJ married,but not before Black Cat is introduced in the movie.This is practically the only way that MJ can die.This way, spiderman can move on and fall in love with Black Cat.
