Hinata gets wounded trying to save Naruto and Naruto goes 6 tails on Pain then 7 then 8. Naruto defeats Pain. And Sakura doesn't do anything...she's...just...ther­e...

actually he does die, in the anime he has only lost one arm, but at the end of the fight he gets his throat crushed and he sinks to the bottom of the water, and he isn't seen again. He even says "Naruto, You're the destined child. I know it...The rest is up to you..." and he sinks to the bottom and doesn't ever come back.

he used all of them ok thelolfinder...stop trying to say im wrong just so you can think well of yourself. He used Sage Mode + his own Chakra then he got trapped and Pain WOUNDED Hinata, because she didn't die...that's why she didnt have to get revived. And Naruto thought she died so he went all the way to 8 tails and weakened pain. Then he used his Sage Mode chakra again and defeated Yahiko's Body/Pain.

He went to 8 tails as soon as pain cut Hinata and as the fight progressed he went to 7 then 8...(he was basically a giant fox but its' skin was all rotted) and he was about to peel off the barrier that the 9 tails has on its' cage and Naruto started bleeding from his stomach because the barrier was ripped. But His father came and stopped him. And Naruto found out he was his dad and stuff. Then he went back to normal.
