@ castevaniaguy86 AND ForlornHope1337 Its not a generational thing at all. This is sub-quality, sub-funded animated crap. Just look up DIC's involvement with Hasbro and the GI Joe animated franchise (the stuff that was out before this). They made it with a much smaller budget, enforced inconsistencies, used terrible voice actors, and pandered to the lowest common denomiator. Only a very small minority thinks that this was a good show, and even less think its better than the original.

@Retrogold1 yes it is, it was the same writer except Hasbro toke the company DiC instead of SUNBOW (the first two season plus the mini-serie) because of the cost, DiC is a descent cartoon company but not as expansive and high quality of Sunbow. Bad move I believe.

I love the synthesizer intro for the first few seconds, but my favorite part starts at 0:33. The GIJOE sign might as well be the American flag and the poppy tune mixed with the Joe mission statement is like a recruitment video!!!

Ah, the beginning of the end. The cartoon peaked with "The Revenge of Cobra" and After the first 15 minutes of the animated movie, it turned too garbage. How sad. Well, at least we'll always have the original Larry Hama comics universe to be the gold standard, canon G.I. Joe story.

I this is ok , seeing i remember the 80's version first . this was a attempt to restart a classic series, that failed as a cartoon but increased toy sales . so in Hasbro's mind they won . which is like most cartoons in the 90s that had toy lines .

I watched the Orginal show in the 80's and it was cool. The 90's version i wasn't thrilled with and quite frankly didn't like it.......a shame they just didn't continue the 80's show..instead of doing something different..plus I don't like this song the orginal song was better.
