I'm still to nervous to put water in my computer. What happens if it breaks, and fluid is all over? I assume I will get my money back on the cooler, but what about the rest of the computer?
@nordemoniac That would be up to the partner to decide, likely on a case by case basis. That being said, Asetek liquid coolers go through rigorous testing. HP has deemed our coolers so reliable that they include them in their Z400 and Z800 workstations.
@AsetekInc But if it breaks or leaks, isn't that liquid supposed to be mineral oil? Then the system wont fail if it breaks or leaks out, or is it that it's not effective in cooling system, that the mineral oil is better when it takes direct contact with parts ?
@nordemoniac Usually it's not even water that they put in, it's electrostatically-decharged fluid, so your components should be fine should it break. :D
@alexconingham Already have a fully water cooled system, with pump, radiator etc.
And it's the dumbest thing I have ever done. It leaks water everywhere (Not my fault, came like that), the pump leaks, I have to fill it every single day, plus it leaked water down on both of my graphics card which broke them. Thats why I'm getting something similar to this, or simply this.
they should also make these coolers compatible with other intel sockets so if we buy a lga 2011 processor and use aftermarket cooling on it, we can use the intel watercoolers in other computers we own
@MrBullshittliar These are extremely reliable. Just spend some time looking over reviews of our other Asetek partner products and you will be convinced! :-)

@nordemoniac also most of these use non conductive coolant so just turn your pc off wait for it to dry off and get a new cpu cooler
