Okay I am doing this battle but all he does is prisma and won't do pain surge.

It's been about 50 rounds and he's still doing that.

One of the reasons why this fight is awesome is 1. The epic music... when i first heard this i was like O_O Best fight music EVER and 2) Gongora mocks you as you attack him but hes also super powerful

You were just suposed to delay him and survive thats all your not suposed to reach him at a specified health or anything

Yes that is one way to make it through that battle, or you can take off something like 10,000 HP of his health.

In all honesty I don't think that many people would know that you won't beat Gongora the first time you go against him.

Well that is true but did you get all Tolten secret stuff? if you did then you must have gotten the "Utimate hit" it damages like 24k.

Actually you don't even have to attack him from what I read, though i attacked anyways supposedly juss stay alive for 5 turns and he uses pain surge. so i say juss use mages for healing when needed and juss defend to make the fight go a bit faster.

this is true, the battle ends automatically, so it's best to just avoid dying and not even risk it by attacking

It's not that hard of a fight. All you really need to do is occasionally heal, and use the 2nd level skills. I'm just surprised he used force with Jansen instead of magic like flara, etc. Though I never would have thought about using Combo on Kaim and Seth. Nice one XD
