That's unbelievable. I had no idea some tribes of people have yet to even know there are others beyond their habitat. That's mind blowing! Those people in those videos are experiencing the very same thing the natives of the Americas did when they first saw Europeans. The philosophical implications on their society must be fascinating after coming into contact with one of us.

The sentinelese interest me the most. I am amazed at how distant they are from the modern world. it is a marvel, and I hope it never gets ruined (their culture/society). It's even humourous to hear that a helicopter could not land, due to arrows being shot at it... (and in line with the majority of the comments here, yes I think Molly is quite pretty :P )

This "lost" tribe has now been found to be just a warlike tribe that has been in contact with the outside world on and off for at least the past 20yrs! They are pretty territorial and closly related to a westernised tribe from wich they buy their goods. They have CHOSEN to sever contact, but not trade. They also wear western clothes too. The ppl who took these pics, did so during a ritual dance on a Holy day. It is aleged that the tribe even puts on these shows to protect their land from loggers

@JMMBenson Exactly. There are well over 6 billion people on the globe, most of which have already had considerable contact with modern technology and ideologies. These isolated groups will inevitably face assimilation because the human race will just keep growing and accrue their land and resources out of necessity. It sounds insensitive perhaps, but it's a fact of life. Hopefully they can be introduced into the modern world without a lot of problems.
