I just saw the movie and I laughed my ass off! I was surprised at how many insides I got. Something as subtle as 'Nice tie!' may as well have been a reference to 'Crimewave' (which I also saw today). Thanks James for extending my 'to see' movie list to great lengths!

I saw the movie a year ago at the Fantasy Film Fest in Germany and I definitely was not disappointed. It was the funniest BC-movie in years.The self-referential humor works great and you just love to hate Bruce. The effects are few, low budget and not very bloody and the storyline is real bad. There is a love-story, but it's actually quite nice. The last fourth of the movie is a letdown story and humorwise. Nonetheless, Bruce's best film in years. Better than BubbaHoTep anyway!

Go watch Evil Dead 1 and 2 and you will instantly fall in love with his acting style. Then you'll see why so many people love him. If you don't know who he is it is possible that you (and other person I replied to below) just don't watch horror films all that much. However, if you watch horror often then there is absolutely no excuse for not knowing who he is.
