It seems he was letting his wife do some of his work for him and represent him. As a pow vet himself i don't think he meant any disrespect, come on, no one is perfect.
Are you actually cheering for John McCain? Are you kidding me? That man is an evil monster. He will destroy this country far worse than Bush. Delete this video right now!
No. I'm a journalist and was there covering it for the school paper. In fact, I didn't like him to begin with, but right after the rally he snubbed me by walking past me after his people arranged an interview between the two of us. This all wound up in the paper in a very angry column that I wrote criticizing his behavior and his platform.
As far as calling for me to delete this 10 second video of him walking, don't you think you're being a little rude?
You can't go around controlling people's first amendment right to free speech just because you don't like the content. And by calling people "evil monsters" that will "destroy the country" you're starting to sound a lot like McCain himself. Trading one monster for another isn't going to solve anything. You have to drop these labels, stop drawing lines between people based on your subjective views on good and evil, and face your fears. If u want to change the world you have to change yourself.
Oh trust me, the fundamental regime of the Bush Administration makes those guys look like a bunch of amateurs. Compare 9/11 to the amount of Arab civilians our bombs have killed in the last 7 years and it'll make sense why they resent us. Essentially we're giving many of them a reason to keep fighting. We breed our own enemy.
I don't think you are too worried that you are going to get bombed by the Bush Administration, but the Bush Administration is beside the point. What I brought up in my last post is real, and McCain is not wrong in idenifying it. We have done so much in the Middle East in recent years to change the region forever. You should read all of Q2 of Bin Laden's letter to America. You will see just how irrational of an element we are dealing with. I assure you that they don't return your sympathy.
The way I understand it McCain was once outspoken AGAINST our using military force to meddle in the politics of that region because it will only attract more people to their cause. And wasn't that a reason bin Laden gave for the 9/11 attacks? We're endangering ourselves by how we're acting. And as far as watching my back around Bush, he's no protector, only thing he excels at is putting others in harm's way.
McCain is quite a flip flopper. But I do think the Middle East needs to be advanced out of the dark ages as fast as possible to prevent an age of WMD/nuclear terrorism. Bin Laden's problem with us goes far beyond our counteractivity in the Middle East. He is much crazier than that. Read Q2 of his letter to America. His/their demands are loonie toons beyond all possibility of rational discussion. Islamofascists are where fundamentalist Christians were 1,500 years ago.

Are you just in complete denial about the fact that terrorists are working in large numbers to kill as many Americans as possible?
