I'm not sure I like this. I use se7enTSP, much easier and way cooler desktop. Just saying. Here's a TUT "youtu.be/MN96PXiu2hM". It's a program that does it all in one click
@TheAsianfire If you already have an info folder you should look into it to see if you already have a backgrounds folder (in the info folder) as well (you prolly do). In this case you do not need to create the info or backgrounds folders because they are already there. So just move to the next step. If you already have a pic (inside your backgrounds folder) entitled backgroundsDefault you may need to move or delete that pic. I know that, that didn't exactly answer the question you asked, sorry
@tetrablue255 ThanX for the help i didnt knew tat but there is a background folder in my info folder but the backgroundfolder is ... idk wats in it lol but ill try to delete/move it :)
Attention please, there is something wrong at 1:50, "Named "backgroundDefault.jpg"", but actually, if u put the .jpg on the back of the name, will cause nothing happens or any changes made.
Anyway, thank u for this video, let me learn more.
@Blackshot1997 lol, iti s different from how you're telling me,cuz I cant find personalize or window colour; how do you do this in the contro panel?? ah and I have windows home basic I donnt know if it is different...thanx 4 reply
what about the high res picture, since it can only take 256kb size of pic...that would be bad........in third party, still we can upload the high res pic...anyway,nice vid...new knowledge from regedit
If you cant access 'Registry Editor' you need Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate and Enterprize to get to it. Windows 7 starter, Basic and Home Premium Dont have 'Registry Editor' installed on them.
@DellSe7enTech u need to enable administrator account on basic or home and use that to do it just youtube it youll find it,regedit is installed its just hidden
If you don't want a custom background ignore this video or you might as well act and create a custom bacground.. Be careful as it's easy to do it by mistake. Heard so many stories of people browsing the web and then suddenly BAM! they just created the damn "costum backround".

@CargaMarranas Windows 7 Home Basic doesn't have Aero by default. You can download a third-party program called "AeroEnabler" to change that.
