@panda374 - Hokie's a nonsense word that was made up because the school needed an official cheer. The team was nicknamed "The Gobblers" which is where the Turkey Mascot came from. Eventually the Turkey came to be known was "the Hokie Bird." Oddly enough the school's original mascot was a clown.

I have a new favorite animal. Lucy is so cute. Not that I would walk up to one in their natural habitat, but they are adorable none the less :)
