If you think that is what the original enterprise looked like then you have never seen an episode of Star Trek. The only ting they have in common is a the basic shape.

That is not what the original enterprise looked like. I suggest you go watch an episode of the original series because it seems you are confused.
The only thing they have in common is a same basic shape.

They all look similar. Plus, we can't compare the 60's version to the present version. It looks fine. I hope it does good in the theaters.
