i think it might be the noise is bothering him and aspbergerssome times have tics when things annoythem...my close friend has aspergers and tends to shake her her or wave it when she is annoyed!!

Yeah, unfortunately, he can't stand anything touching his ears. He won't even wear hats other than for a couple of minutes when he's being silly.
