My reasoning for the yearbook photo thing is that most high school experiences suck. So if you can make it through that you can be happy through the roughest parts of marriage. But if you're "too cool" to smile, you'll be too cool for your significant other.

As for the hat thing. I completely understand! I have the same problem with hats. More of a habit thing and my own self opinion of hats.

B.D., if you can look good in a dress made out of a mens t-shirt or long underwear ( and you did) you should be able to look presentable in a hat. The hat in the video was not the right colour for you, something that matches the colour of your eyes would be fantastic.

I think you can only get away with a hat if there is some pretext of usefulness. Like if you're going to be out in the sun for a while or it's cold outside. Then when you start to feel cheesy for walking around with a strange contraption siting on your head, you can at least pretend that it's justified.
