I actually really like this tempo. It works really well, especially since it's just acoustic and there's no drum beat going on. While I personally like the original lyrics better, the change is actually pretty significant to the meaning of the song. The original lyrics made it seem more of a ballad to a lover while the modified lyrics makes it much more of a general commentary about life. Either way, the musical aspects are still there and it's still an amazing song.
