I haul 12200 gallons of gasoline...I weigh in at a little over 105,000lbs..that Jake is a life saver on some of the hills I see lol...Great vid..keep them coming!!!
can i ask why you jake it right down to the end? you was almost stoped and you still used the jake? the most i pull is 45,000lbs and i dont need the jake at such slow speed to stop. or was you just playing with the jake lol
45,000, that's it? Gotta dodge those scales man! However, nobody needs engine brake...some of our Ryder "specials" don't even have them and we pull close to 50,000! Jake brake is an awsome sound though...I love it.
They are making a vid where sound is important :) Using the Jake properly can save an owner some money in brake jobs - I pull 138,000lbs and dont have a jake.
our trucks are only good for 52,000lbs but they load us 80% of the time with almost 60,000lbs. its all LTL freight. and only have to pass 1 scale. just a day cab truck. but that was my old night run. ive just been switched to days doing the local deleverys. and love it. reson. lots of hot chicks at the places i goto lol
man ive said it before and ill say it again you HAVE GOT THE BEST SOUNDING TRUCK EVER beautiful truck just beautiful more than worthy of a 100 stars. she sounds good pulling hard love it
Thanks buddy! I havent been able to get any new videos lately. Im a try to take sum new ones. This ol truck has almost a million miles on it and still gettin it! KNOCK ON WOOD LOL..............
omg omg music to my ears, love the sound of the jake, can listen to it all day, were you floating gears or where u actually downshifting using the clutch?
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. I actually dont use te clutch only for stoppin and starting. as for the downshiftin its harder for me to use the clutch so as I said just stop n go!
$4.00 A gallon, over here in the uk it`s nearer to $9.00 Rig sounds sweet, we are so restricted now as to what we can do over here because of the tree-hugger brigades.Even have to use an addative(a combination of chemicals and sheep piss) now that turns the exhaust gasses into water.
I'm talking about the ones that have signs posted. I try not to use them much in town anyhow, but if the traffic is heavy the switch is on. Just have to hit the service brakes to turn them on.
Is that with the windows open? I mean it's a cool sound and all but I know that from the outside that very sound can be ear piercing. How bad is it riding in the cab?
lol s172, i mean your own company, starting a company u cant just go out and buy a brand new $155,000 rig... If you join fed, u mainly drive like classics, very few W900's.... NO coro's
i can hear the throttle blip between downshifts cool. but how come i can hear it on jake brake by ejj237 is it auto on is he so good he can match gears
S172 dont count on any of those rigs... the coronados are over priced and so are the kw900... you wotn reach that unless your company goes big then you can buy one... a used 379 you might get though... nice 379 you got there driver... sounds like my dads before he sold it...
Damm you wanna roll Long & Hard! The longer wheelbase trucks have alot of limitations. There are bridge laws from the lenght of the wheelbase that you can run into trouble with depending on the kind of freight you haul! Thats why some companies tend to shy away from those LARGE CARS! Starting off I would try something more practical unless you plan on living on the road for months at a time.
hey could u give me some tips on becomin an owner operator? i will prolly getting a intl prostar limited 18sp auto shift cummins isx 525hp annd 300gal tank capacity and i will be extending the sleeper i think cuz i might be livin in the truck for some time
Nice video!!!! You defintely have to come with some more. Also is that a freightliner Classic you styling dude? Anyway goo job no music ,just letting the engine sing its own tune. Be safe good buddy

nvolen thanks for finally helping me prove there was a coronado
IT DOESNt matter WHAT TRUCK YOU DRIVE IF YOUR AN OWNER OPERTOR!! thats one reason to be one, hence to pick your truck
s172mch 4 years ago
no problem, I don't know why these people find it hard to believe it.
NVOLEON 4 years ago
wat kind of truck is it?????
silerjd 4 years ago
Oh Yes !
leograss79 4 years ago
not to take anyones side, but i've seen a coronado hauling fedex trailers. i dont know if it was fedex's truck or an owner operator.

superdoggydogdog 4 years ago 2
This comment has received too many negative votes show
and i saw a coronado on the road yesterday for fedex ground
BEAT THAT!
s172mch 4 years ago
nope thats incorrect
my pa works for fedex ground and it is 100% owner operator enviornment
so i choose which ever truck i want pal
as long as its white and has 57inches of space between the 5th wheel and end of truck
s172mch 4 years ago

hey super dog lol dontt mean to be here but the companys are big that im picking from, plus im only 16 so they might be bigger
im talkin like fedex and dart
so yea
i agree a new w900 is 160k loaded wich i was blasted when i saw that price
the coronados arent bad tho ive seen them in the 120s
btw i will never buy used you never know what people have done to the truck
just my 2 cents
s172mch 4 years ago
S172 dont count on any of those rigs... the coronados are over priced and so are the kw900... you wotn reach that unless your company goes big then you can buy one... a used 379 you might get though... nice 379 you got there driver... sounds like my dads before he sold it...

poppy77 4 years ago
man i love ur truck! it sounds amazing! my dad says ill hate driving because he did but im like screw that im doin it no matter wat it pays
its hard to decide on a rig even tho i got a few years! i keep goin from coronado to prostar to w900l to 379exhd to t660 and RRGG lol
s172mch 4 years ago
well i plan on living on the road for a few years maybe even my whole life not sure yet but its a 75percent chance ill live in it for many years
s172mch 4 years ago
scratch my comment on tips of o/o
i might of found the company i want to work with not sure yet
i am lookin for a truck with at least a 130inch sleeper but not many companys support a 300+ wheelbase
but im lookin at legacy sleepers and bentz transport products sleepers
bentz are alot nicer but these dont run cheap
about 70k for a 150inch sleeper but hopefully i can get a daycab coronado for 100-110k
might be lookin at a 13 or 15 manual
515 detroit

wickedtrucker 4 years ago
why didnt u go for a 18speed? well most dont need iot
s172mch 4 years ago
hey could u give me some tips on becomin an owner operator? i will prolly getting a intl prostar limited 18sp auto shift cummins isx 525hp annd 300gal tank capacity and i will be extending the sleeper i think cuz i might be livin in the truck for some time
