well caldari are only good for PVE unless you have amazing shield skills and a CS (command ship)

well for example when we have BS fights in 0.0 caldari are always primaried first because they go down so quick....my megathron can take on 2 ravens because the ammount of DPS and buffer tank my Mega has....and well yer like poeple have ben saying sniping...leave it to turrets missiles are to slow

and well my T3 cruiser with implants kicks out over 800k EHP with a 90k armor buffer tank =)

Caldari can be good at PvP, torp/buffer Ravens are nasty. Sure they can't tackle and have good EHP, but you simply don't fly it solo. Simple.

I don't really like Caldari, but they are alright.

There is no best race. It all depends on what type of role you want in pvp. Each race has their strengths and negatives...if you just want uber ultimate race, just go back to WoW.

For solo pvp it would be minmatar.

Fleet pvp it depends. Caldari have high dps and good tanks, but can't snipe and are often looked down upon due to missile flight times (i.e. it takes them about 20-30 seconds to start doing damage at long ranges).

I'm caldari but if I had to start again I'd probably choose gallente. They have very high dps but bad tanks.

This is very much a generalisation and it varies a lot, but it gives you an idea at least.

or if you're not in a fleet, the target will have killed the tackler and warped off before.

A t2 fit drake can tank 1000 dps..... no implants/faction mods etc.

the highest dps u can get on a drake 667 WITH drones, brutix can get 800+ and just below 1000 if you overheat.

cerb has low damage, high range.

nighthawk has decent dps but only at a long range.

raven is the only high dps ship really, maxxing out at 1300. But that is an anomaly.

Turrets hit in 1 sec of firing. and can hit right there.

In Eve to steer you simply double-click somewhere in space and your ship will basicaly go in the direction you clicked until you stop the ship, double click somewhere else or use an orbit, approach or warp command....there are shortcuts to stop your ship and that kind of thing but i would say that 90% of the game is mouse controled.Once you learned how to use the menus and the different systems its very easy to play.Oh and just to tell you this idk how much stars there is but i'd say 1000+

Now as for the Lite version, I am pretty sure there r a lot of people that don't know about what the lite version means for min sys. requirements & I think CCP r taking a big gamble dropping support for the classic client.

To assemble a T3 ship you must have at least 1 of each of the 5 subsystems also as it cant be assembled with any missing, they add different attributes to the ship, shield regen rates, etc

(said old character player has also cross-trained quite a bit in his past, and can fly both Caldari and Amarr ships, I believe, but he prefers Minmatar. Seriously, people need to stop ragging. A good number of Caldari ships look like crap to me, for instance (too fuggin asymmetrical- all their T1/T2 cruisers are fugly to me, and the Scorp.. augh, my eyes), but a few look pretty awesome to me. It's all a matter of opinion, really)

Hey, now... The Maelstrom and Hurricane don't look like a pile of junk... For a Destroyer, the Thrasher's pretty bad-ass, too. A decent amount of my Caldari-heavy corp actually agrees with the Minmatar members' enthusiasm for their vicious-looking ships. One of our members who has one of the oldest characters for our corp absolutely loves the Tempest line, and makes it rather clear he finds it to be one of the most awesomely aggressive-looking ships in the game.

I have been finding a HUGE drop in performance on my machine which is only a 3.4Ghz unit with nvidia S3 capable card and only 2GB RAM with this new client and have so far got an adverage of 30 - 40 FPS drop when using the S2 capable & 40+ all the time using S3(full premium client)

Although these new graphics look nice I would personally rather stick with the old classic client and have decent FPS 95% of the time.

I think ending the classic client is a brave move for CCP, lets c how it goes..

To stack your guns you need to enter grouping mode. Make sure you guns/launchers are unload first.

Click the arrow to the right of your top speed and enter group mood. This will gray out other mods except your guns/launchers. Drag the ones you wish to group on top of one another (note: only the same mods can be group).

Once done exit grouping mode and your all done. PEW PEW!

To get the mats to build the T3 mods and Ships you need to farm them from the worm holes. Im guessing they will be a total cost of around 1bil or so. Depending on luck of drops and salvage. But that is just a guess.

The stabber icon is a place holder there will be new icons for the t3 cruisers eventually. It's much the same with the other t3 cruisers. For example the Gallente get a vexor icon for it.

However why CCP didn't try to combine the electric looking warp effect with the new subtle one...or even with the old (the one thats is still in use)?
