I was breaking with the other BBOYS that night. Carnival was dope. I was so fried back then on 3 Sugar Cubes. Stayd till 5 am then there was an earthquake later that morning. I remember the disco ball dropped during Sneaks set. Doc came to dj after be on hiatus from having surgery, This was one of the last good parties. I party still though, BIG UP CALI RAVE/PARTY scene. It looks like the place. In the morning some girl freaking out on acid fell down the cliff above the road leading down the mountain, and then someone crashed their car on the way down too? I swear this is that party, but it wasn't 99, was it?

yes, that (this) party was in 99. I moved out of the country that year a month after this party. I remember a helicopter flying in to lift someone out that night, it was tripping us out big time. RIP to those 5 kids who died that morning. That was a lame way to end an awesome party. Those were the days.

Naw, maybe this footage from a later party then, I only went to the first one, which was July 97-I still have the flyer... But some kids drove off a cliff after that one, so are you saying it happened again a few years later? If so, that's fu@king nuts! That was the second one. I was just talking with an old head about the first one (and only one) I went to, which was at Kratka Ridge in 1997. The Santa's Village one was in 1998, and this one (the third one) was back at Kratka Ridge again apparently. I already fell out of the scene by this time, but it still looks like it was a pretty dope party. Too bad there's no footage of the first party... Feelgood and Scott Henry's sets were sick, & DJ Trance at sunrise-1 of the best!
