'I mest a little' is just a way to capture her accent. She says 'I messed up a little,' meaning that she made some mistake while singing the song and she's apologising. It is not something that we notice, at least I cannot see what mistake she made. It might be with some timing of delivery with the band. She hates to wear earphones and it's more difficult for the artist, with the cross sound. She wants the band to know that she takes the blame. She often does that to spare them. Live is live.

@denise53134 Yes, you've hit the nail on the head.On the original movie soundtrack, she sings 'and I'll spend forever just proving that fact, and here she sings, 'and I'll spend a lifetime just proving that fact,' and so her saying I messed up a little between 'forever and lifetime.. To be honest I like 'lifetime.' Just goes to show, that it is really live.
