Dear Busterbone, This performance in "Born Innocent"is what makes Linda a true talent! She is able to make you feel empahy for her. As I said before..she is able to play characters that you can believe in and really care about!

"Born Innocent" was a really great movie. It was powerful and unsparing and quite graphic and controversial for the 70's when it premiered. Linda Blair was great in it, a really good performance. Still, I wonder why right after the Exorcist, Blair decided to make a made-for-TV-movie? At the time she was so hot she sizzled, and TV movies were not considered too prestigious. Hollywood actors made Hollywood movies.

la trama es:
Christine Parker, es víctima de malos tratos por parte de sus padres, convirtiéndose la chica en la figura con la cual desahogaban violentamente todas sus frustraciones. Después de algunos intentos Chris se escapa de su casa con la intención de irse a vivir con su hermano mayor. No obstante, una vez localizada por sus padres, estos deciden internarla en un reformatorio con la idea de que la "enderecen", aunque esto no es nada más que una excusa para librarse de ella.

The movie was so controversial because Chris is seen after the rape lying on the floor naked on the bathroom floor and sobbing. Well, it looks as if she is naked, because it's a far-off shot. I saw a video of the film and if you look closely, you can tell that she is wearing skin-colored tights or something. Still, it was shocking to see her there. I'm really surprised the networks allowed it.

It's always interesting to see a sexual assault case. This woman and the camera man should be arrested and it is never to late. Nasty! Nasty! Nasty! Interesting Janis Joplin lookalike but everyone knows it take more than a lookalike to insure a copyright. Blair? Blair? It has a wif of Erin Brocovich to it...doesn't it? believe her..nor would they do anything about it. They were so abusive,thoughtless and studpid..they

I've always wished that the writers had put in the movie that Chris's dad knew about Chris having to strip naked in front of Mrs. Lasko and be searched. Then when Chris goes home for her weekend visit while she and her parents are sitting at the table eating, her dad confronts her about this. I wonder how embarrassed Chris would be talking about this, and what would be her parents reaction?
