BTW, Stone Pressure Plates get only activated by a player on them, or a player on a minecart on them, unlike wooden ones, these get activated by a player on them, a player on a minecart on them, or something thrown on them, hope I helped

ok check this out i just started playing last week and i just started trying out red stone n pistons i have 64 pistons 2 sections with 4 rows each (8pistons per row) i want to have one switch turn on all 64 pistons. using them to farm sugarcane every thing seems to fine but the red stone i tried redstone torches but im running into like half pistons on half pistons off. which is preventing half the sugar cane from growing any more. any advise would be great.

could a wood pressureplate be attached to redstone torch w/ redstone? i tried making a trade that kills mobs and there items would flow to a pressure plate to activate a torch to tell me when there are items on the plate, but it doesn't work. (note the wireing waas way undergroun d so i had tto place another torch {connecter} so the power reached, but it still did nothing when the plate was pressed)

I've not played Minecraft for a while but I believe you can just throw a torch at the end of your trail and it'll continue going. Otherwise you can watch the video above and use two NEGATE gates to first turn off the circuit, and then re-enable it, which will boost it.

Use an inverter by placing one block, have the redstone going into the side of it (NOT on top of it) and on the opposite side the wire is going in, place a RS torch ON THE BLOCK. Continue the trail from the torch. This switches which direction the switch goes to activate your thingy, but lets it go twice as far. You can chain these together.

Redstone only powers up to 15 blocks from the power supply. To fix this just make 12 blocks of redstone, then make a block at the ond, then on the other side of the block, put a redstone torch. Then, put 1 redstone from the torch, and another block with a torch. Then continue the redstone from that 2nd torch. Do it as many times as you need. :3

Or do a line of 12 redstone, redstone repeater, then 12 more redstone (or any shorter)

If you want time before the redstone touches it, make the redstone repeater to the last setting.
