Dude it still in recovery mode after it says error 1015, i did what you said. like holding both buttons for 10 sec and releasing the home and clicking the top for 2 sec it stills shows in dfu mode

Ok i tried this, I got to the part with the white screen, i shift restored the 3.12 firmware. Then I got the error, and connect to itunes logo. I tried holding power and home button and released each with the sound of each beep. But nothing happened. The phone just turns off.. Also I added those codes to the host file. It still doesnt work. Hey jailbreaking is awesome cause you can install this awesome movie app from Cydia called uWatch app which has like over 5,500 movies in high quality. It's the best cause they have direct streaming and downloading. It's worth a look though.

Jailbreaking is the only way to go cause you can get awesome apps including the that movie app "uWatch" mention recently. I have just installed it and I have never seen so many movies on a single app before. It's gotta be the best movie app cause the video quality is all dvd or very close to it including new movies like Remember Me, Green Zone and Brooklyn's Finest. Trust me check that app out from Cydia.
