no, the screen is capacitive

The screen isn't capacitive, it is resistive. It has two digitizers. One to recognize your finger, and one to recognize the pen.

No it has, (i believe), an infrared light(recharges when its docked in the comp), that the screen pics up, anyways i have the earlier model (tx2000) and the pen will still move the cursor even when the pen is about 3cm away from the screen but u need to press on the screen in order to write.

All tablets are pressure sens. Typically 256 points (this one is 256) You won't see anything without a Wacom Pen though - I suggest one with an eraser as well so you don't lose that feature. (Wacom site has em, google it)

256 is plenty of nearly everything btw... don't buy the hype of "more is better"

Run's "good" is debatable. What settings are you able to run Crysis on? Also is it smooth on your settings? I don't care for Crysis - I don't game like I used to I'm back to console (PS3/360).

not even close. most desktops cant even run crysis. keep in mind that the ati radeon hd 3200 is an integrated card and is limited because of this laptop's size. this laptop is only suitable for playing games released before 2007.

i think it's a halfway charge. u should use the battery til it dies, then charge it, then let it die again, then charge it. then ur good. to make sure u get the maximum life out of it.

Like TuSuperlatino's question, i just wanna ask if you are distracted by the screen being glossy, do you get used to it, does it annoy you a lot? Would this affect a choice of buying it or not or is it minor. I just am deciding whether to buy it or not and want to know if other tablets are better.

I've used both the dv5 and dv6 series which use the same glossy screen (currently awaiting my tx2525)and it's not a problem indoors. In direct sunlight you may have to angle it to get a better view.

The Tx2500 uses the Turion Ultra Puma paltform which is superior in just about every aspect to the previous turion platform expecially in igp graphics performance.
