I've hated the Need for Speed series ever since they went onto that Fast and the Furious ricer shit. Loved the original on 3DO, they need to make them simulators again, where the pleasure was driving the car.

Oh, little secret, they've just renewed the rights to Road Rash, so a new one might be on the way!

I totally agree with you Larry, I used to be a big fan of the NFS series ever since 2 (I kind of missed 1 originally). They were just so much fun. Plus they had split screen, some progressions make no sense! Me and a buddy like to race now and then, but nowadays we need to either take turns or I need to send him home so we can race online, what's up with that?

Fun to see a possible new Road Rash in the works. Although the more modern/3D that series got the shittier it became. We'll see!

What makes EA franchises are if they start to release them every year.

If they leave a two - three years inbetween they tend to be okay.

But I think the 3D Road Rash games were EA trying to create something that wasn't possible with the technology at the time.

I also heard there was a PS2 one in the works around 2003 that was axed.

As for Anime, I will check it out but I'm not familiar with a lot of material in that area. This is mainly because I just get annoyed with reading subtitles fast, I'm a lazy (and lousy) reader.

I always try to mix things up a bit and like making it a bit weird, fun to see that it worked and got people worried hehe.

That box was a VHS set from Star Trek called Red Alert which has some episodes of most of the series (up to Voyager and none of TAS). I found it while cleaning out, but it's missing 1 tape... still hoping I can find it. But good observation there, I do like Star Trek and used to have some models and such, but got rid of those at some point :(

Love Star Trek also, I always find it amazing how they can make the technology and science stuff be so absolutely clear and comprehensive....until you try to do it yourself..... Can't wait for replicators to be a reality....
