@EightBelles6 Hey thank you!! Love love love my Bruno <3 I compete in the "All-Around" events at quarter horse shows- so I do the english as well. I'm actually a better english rider than western lol used to jump and actually run poles :) I think it's good to do a little bit of everything, like you said it brings you closer to the horse :)

@LifeLovinCowgirl Hey, I never showed Bruno in the pleasure- I just did the pattern stuff... But I depending on the pattern and how he felt that weekend I usually showed in a correction bit or a cathedral to get him to frame up easier... Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! I know Bruno was amazing!!!!! he is by zippo award, most of his finished training was done by me and my trainers. But you going to die when I tell you that he broke his navicular bone this past summer, he can never be ridden again. i am devastated, how can something so awful happen to such an amazing horse?

OMG!!!!!!!! i cannot believe this! poor girl i hope hes gonna stay a pet for yuu i can tell yuu luvv him to death! i no wat kinda bond yuu hav totally! we had a gelding we nursed thru a fractured cannon bone n fractured knee n we sent hin o to a working cow trainer n a roper tried to buy him out from under us n when we wouldnt sell he tried to steal him from the trainer n the horse ran n was hit by an eighteen wheeler on the freeway near the barn its quite devastating when a bond like tats brokn

All of my other horses I bought as one eventers and trained them, but with Bruno i kinda wanted to take a break and enjoy showing a seasoned horse, i only taught him showmanship, and just perfected his trail, and horsemanship :)

hey! thank you!!! well we sold Jax in 2007 to really nice older lady that showed in the select classes. they were an awesome team for two years, but to my knowledge something happened to his hip and he had to have surgery? the lady we sold him to was very vague on details... but she had the surgery done. 6 months later he vet told her jax would never be the same so she put him down. i was kinda of angry and really sad because she told me after he had already been euthanized :( i miss him

i learned to teach spins from watching reining classes and watching the reining riders warm -up before they show lol it doesn't take usually take horses that long to learn how to turn, but teaching them to spin fast kinda does lol thanks for the comment :)
