back in the 80's, this was one of the songs the DJ's would play at the beginning of the night. Hardly anyone was there and those who were rarely danced to this song. The bartender would send the waitresses, most of them fat, out to dance to dance floor in order to get the crowd, such as it was, going. It didn't work.

People were waiting the good songs by Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson The Time or Sheila E to start dancing.

personally i think there are 3 synthesizers that had a massive impact on the music in the 80ies (and still have today...!) minimoog, jupiter 8, prophet 5! as i own most of the roland stuff (two jupiter 6's + 8's, juno 60/106, system100, 303, 202,606,808 and so on) and a minimoog, there's only a prophet 5 left for me..! go for a jupiter 8 if you can, that thing sure rocks!
