since you own a Versa Max, I was just wondering how many rounds you've gone through since this video, and did you get any jams? 4 owners of this weapon told me they've never had jams and they pass over 3000 rounds each without cleaning. hopefully your the fifth. I'm just trying to get as much info as I can from owners of this weapon. reply if you have time. and thank you for sharing this video!
@dclipe Hi, your post is timely because my shotgun has been running well up until today when the firing pin retaining pin fell out and jammed the weapon. I'll call Remington tomorrow to send me a new one. Supposedly, I heard that this is a known issue and Remington is working on a fix. Other than that, my slugs are trending to the right so I may have to bend this barrel. Hope that helps.
@FiveTwoSevenTHR Remington is scheduled to deliver a 22" tactical model with built-in extended magazine tube sometime soon. For shell holders, I've been using the Mark Otto load 2 girdle and California Competition Works 6-shell caddy.
@FiveTwoSevenTHR I don't think it's listed on their website yet but go to Triangle Shooting Sports website and then to the Shotgun section. Mark Otto's contact information will be there. You have to order it directly from him, for now.
@FiveTwoSevenTHR I bought mine for $150 for the 22-round girdle. I heard that he also built a 44-round version but I haven't talked to him recently. You should call him.
@FiveTwoSevenTHR The CCW 4-shell and 6-shell caddies are about $25-$30 a piece, if you want to load weakhand. Look up the Noveske weakhand shotgun video for a demo of how to do that.
@doubleaay No, I think Jeff CRums got it from Nordic Components. Supposedly, Remington is coming out with a Tactical version of the VersaMax soon with a 22" barrel and mag extension.
WOW! Your review was cool and I am impressed with the speed that you can shoot accurately.I so want to try this sport but it is cost prohibitive for me.
@mrtlsimon Thank much for your comment! I know some clubs are starting up .22 rimfire 3-gun so it's cheaper for their members to get into the sport. I think it's a great idea!
@jtischauser Mostly, pricing. I got this guy from Buds for $980 so after Jeff did his magic, it came to $1200. You cant argue with Benelli's excellent reputation though.
It looks ugly!

If they come out with a tactical model and I can find one for a good price, I think I'll upgrade from my 1100. What kind of shell holder do you use?

@SuperSetCA I will but I'm not sure I really could afford something like that. I'll see though, thanks for everything.
