It's not just the lack of pain expression, but the lack of visible injury is interesting. I speculate that the pinching of the flesh is an important element of what we are seeing. Much like you apply pressure to a cut to stop it from bleeding. Steady pinching pressure will drain the area of blood. This is a secondary effect of numbing the wound site a small amount. There is still great pain, but this with training can be "felt without hurting" as many have said before.
That was amazing to witness and inspiring. I wonder How far can we -reaally- control our minds. Perhaps in the near future scientists will be able to answer phenomena like this with a text book approach to telepathy, psychokinesis and other inert human abilities with measurements relating to how much of the brain is being used.
The whole system we live, in Drills into us, that we`re powerless, that we`re weak, that our society is evil, that it`s crime-ridden, and etc. and so-forth, it`s all a Big Fat Lie..we are powerful, beautiful, extrordinary. Theres is no reason why we cannot fully understand who we trulely are, where we are going...there is no reason why the average individual cannot be fully empowered, we are incredibly powerful beings.
and the people who think they're above us, know this. But since they're selfish and are way into themselves, enjoy making us feel like we're weak and can't do anything about it.
I wish more people would realize just what you say...its sad how brain washed everyone is...we do indeed have incredible potential that's well beyond our wildest imaginations...hopefully there will come a time very soon where those of us who realize this can be liberated from this hell of a society and continue our evolution else where.
A tiny magnet can lift a paper clip, even though all of the earth is pulling it in the opposite direction...
makes you wonder what the field effect of consciousness is really capable of, all our thoughts are really made of is alternating electro-magnetic currents/fields in the brain, if a tiny magnet can defeat all of earth`s gravity pulling a paper clip in the opposite direction, what are our minds capable of... = )
I once saw an old film of monk who set himself on fire in protest to the government i think it was, he remained still the entire time and i believe he used the same ideas as are in the video.
Pain of any sort is always perceived by the brain.Yet,curiously, the brain itself is immune to pain; it contains none of the specialised receptor cells that sense pain in other parts of the body.
pain is not ALL in the head... but most of it is....
for me... even triple the dose of aneasthetics doesn't null real pain ( and there is no way it can be in my mind because during the operation on my hand to reattatch the tendan there was a shield thing to stop me from watching, also i was saying ouch only when they were putting the sutures in... so it wasn't as if i was saying ouch the whole time)
So it's like feeling secondary pain when you watch someone else get hurt, and the same principle to not feeling so much pain when we go for an injection, we can overcome the 'pain' because it's 'manifested' in our mind. Fear in our minds is usually the catalystic factor to increase pain. The more we know about what will happen to us, the less fear we have, hence the less pain we feel.
Not ouch,.. pain is a psychological illusion to preserve the body in a form of damage control. People often dont know they are hurt, until they see the damage, from there the pains kicks in. The pain starts in the brain, not in the body.
Yea, like sometimes I've noticed that if I'm doing something stressful on my brain, or physically demanding, I won't feel the pain until I stop. It's really weird, so yes, pain probably is all in the head.
*nods* sometimes i find small cuts or bruises on my body and it doesnt hurt at all until i discover them either by touching them (usually by coincidence) or otherwise become aware of them but i've never felt the pain at the same time i got them. Weird

I studied under the direct instruction of Supreme Grand Master Joo Bang Lee in Downey California in 1983.
The caucasian man in the video is Master John Hopik and he was second in command of the instruction at the studio.
Everything in the video is true, although the video greatly limits what one would observe in direct instruction. Hwarangdo demands mastery of KI.
