The government is privatizing companies owned by the people and selling it for a fraction of what it's worth. As for housing, I can say that none of my friends and family would live in the west bank. On a human level I wish each person to have a dignified life but I cant help to notice that in the end Israelis are protesting for houses, jobs ect on a land that is not theirs in the first place. ME ppl deserve to live in peace&progress bec we all have lots to offer&been hostages by colonialism&occupation,unless Israeli youth realise that solving rightfully the Palestinian issue is a must I dnt see much change in the future.

well..what I've heard is that it's cuz of prices, esp. Houses' prices.. and note that demolishes only started after ur demonstrations broke out..and I heard from many channels that the problem IS needing more space to build more houses..and it's the first time I hear that ur strike is bec. of corruption..and I did saw last night's demons. and it really reminded me of ours which made us feel for u..and I saw the sign that supported Syria as well :)

The government is privatizing companies owned by the people and selling it for a fraction of what it's worth. As for housing, I can say that none of my friends and family would live in the west bank. I don't think I actually have any acquaintance who would live in the settlements. We almost never drive through there even... Peace:)

@oCeAnLaNesl Demolishions had nothing to do with the protests. you can read about it in wikipedia or other sources. The right wing people - settlers - want the solution to be more settlements. Most israelis don't. The problem might be that those who make the most noise are on the extremes. The settlers are hardly participating in the protest and just started voicing themselves in the past few days. Much of the arab media demonizes israel by giving voice to these extremist israelis.

@hraslan There are two sides to the coin of this conflict. I think it's important we all see both sides if we want to come to a place of peace. Those who vehemently blame only the israelis remind me of those who blame only the palestinians. Both sides made mistakes which caused a lot of suffering.
What i can see today as a possible solution is a palestinian state in the west bank. As for one state for two people, i don't see it happening until we all find love for each other.
