That dude has wicked kicks! Wouldn't want to face him in the streets. Then again he's probably a gentleman ninja and only uses his skills for good. Awesome comparison, thanks!
@ams914 Yeah, 60 FPS looked really weird to me too, at first. Kind of too fluid, but it's just because you're not used to it. After a while, it becomes the new norm.
wow. you're quite flexible and your kicks are precise too! what kind of martial art are you practicing? Didn't look like taekwondo at the beginning.. shotokan karate?
People seem to have a huge misconception about what the proper framerates for 720P and 1080P are. To actually be labeled as 720P, shots must be 1280x720 at 60FPS. 30FPS doesn't cut it and looks like crud. 1080P must be 1920x1080 at 60fps. 30fps looks horrible at this resolution if anything is moving in the frame.
My vote will always be 720p until we have entered a 1080p 60fps friendly world.
thx i wanted to see what 30fps waz liek for the logitech c910 and im happy to say that i am satisfied with 30fps for a webcam, even if 60 fps looks better
I think 60fps is a MUST. I found a misconception about many people saying 30fps is enough, whereas the difference is not seen/shown clearly by any camera makers yet.
In reality, almost all personal video are taken by camera being hand-held.
I hope someone can make a comparison video of 60fps vs 30fps that show a hand-held camera spanning 180 degree around from left to right of any range subjects. I am sure this will show the difference.
@JocJav You're right! I noticed that too! 1080P's clarity definitely trumps s720P. I just like the frame rate of the 720P for the action slo-mo stuff.
60 fps is a great bonus for video games but it's not necessary. Most FPS games run at 30 fps anyway. If I could have the choice of choosing either one, it would of course be 60. However, if it meant sacrificing graphics performance then probably not.
In games, it actually does not really make any difference between 60fps or 30fps or 24fps. Simply because in games, every frame is not being shot/recorded, instead it is just rendered. And every frame is displayed most sharp. So there is NO chance of blur occurring in game videos.
But in real life video, it does make a huge difference. Because fast actions are recorded into frames, so faster fps will have sharper & clear frames, and slower fps will have frames more blur & fuzzy.

You can see motion blur, that covers some low framerate. But the video is only 24 frames per second - LOL

I guess this proves that 60fps is for slomo only. non slomo looked very weird to me in 60 fps.

60fps is usually used for slow motions.. but if you wanna get more cinematic looks go with 24fps or 30fps..

@zmnali78 24fps is a bit steep for games. You certainly won't notice above about 40fps but 35 is a much better gaming experience than 24, believe me.

@Cufflinksss I think you might be seeing the difference between PAL and NTSC. PAL is only 50fps, but NTSC is 60fps.
shinobicct 11 months ago
@shinobicct Is that mean if in 1080p, NTSC is 30fps and PAL is 25fps?
