the Mary Chain were and are awesome but nothing like as diverse as The Telescopes who have covered EVERY bit of ground this movement has... noise rock, noise pop, shoegaze, neo-psychedelia, post-rock and noise / drone soundscapes and back again

psychocandy is a worth record, a classic.

but they are a soporific band compared to the telescopes, they were just a bunch of poser.

at least their band's name is cooler.

listen to the 7sharp disaster ep/the precious little ep. the telescopes is one of the best thing happened to the shoegazing, songs like pure sweetest ocean or to the shore are epic, while every shoegazer of this era was just boring/ripping-off their own stuff.
