Pour info, c'est un chassis de 205 t16 sur le quel ils ont déposé une "silouette" 405 pour en faire la promo à sa sortie... c'est donc une 205... Si on regarde bien elle ne possède que 2 portes (inexistant sur 405). Et oui, c'est une 205 déguisée en 405 ni plus ni moin.

205 T16, the reason the rear of the car looks like it does, is the glassfibre rebuild for the massive rear spoiler. Pause at 1:42 and you'll see it's not the 405.

HOTTEST, sexiest driving ever. Pikes Peak has been defeated since, but with higher horspower, and partially (now fully) ashpalted roads, but Ari's the man. He even had a few errors, turned in too early a couple of times, could have corrected the drift sooner, but who fucking cares? POETRY IN MOTION.

I hope one day I can drive for 10 seconds as well as he.

Pretty insane in a hill climb event(where codrivers are forbidden, you and the car only), that they would let ppl start so late that the sun is going down and he has to cover his eyes with one hand to see anything on some stretches!

SORRY, but this is not a 205 but yes a 405 with the same engine as the 205 T16 it has ben use on the world rally championship in 1985 and with more HORSEPOWER.

altitude true power false they used bigger turbos and intercoolers to get more horse power more powerful than the groupb rallycars no restrictions

consider that this track is located at 4500m attitude. That means car could not perform as well as it would if it were on, say 200-300 m, because of the air density, which is low on this high attitudes. Also, turbine get overheated much easily, thus intercooler is charged much more than normal. So, if Pikes Peak were located lower, driver would perform much better. Still, terrific driving.

This is a famous film and everybody who knows something about Peugeot sports cars, knows that this car is a 405 T16, not a 205T16. And I wonder what the hell has this to do with Top Gear? Hey pepo!
