my dad got one at the auction a while ack a 95 exactly like this one in pristine condition in and out with 130kmiles with the og wheels for 2500 but dad messed up he sold it for 3500 hes dumb because it was worth atleast 6k.
I really want to get another one! I never had a Roadmaster wagon but I did have a 1991 Caprice wagon, which had just the 5.0 engine instead of the 5.7 but the same body style and a different dash. Even with the 5.0 it had plenty of power. The car always sparked plenty of conversation and had lots of onlookers! I owned it for just five years but other than routine wear and tear problems it always ran fine. These cars are classics for sure! You better hold on to this one!!
I saw one of these beauties in my town in WI with a sign on the back window saying CA$H FOR CLUNKERS SURVIVOR. I was laughing so hard I almost ran off the road.
@firedragon689 Was a client of my mothers for years. She is a counseler and still worked for them even when insurance didnt pay her. Is this car rare? It is very powerful and i understand it has a v8 corvette engine. I am wondering if selling it to a collector would be worth looking into. I am loving this car.
That's a great looking wagon, the trim around the woodgrain isn't even peeling! I love these cars, have 2 95 wagons myself. A Roadmaster and a Caprice.
There's a small dealership near me that has Roadmasters, Caprices etc in his inventory. Just wondering what the reliability is on these things. I think they look beautiful myself.
@336kgf Mine is rock-solid reliable. It has 268k miles. I've had it for the last 28k and done nothing but an O2 sensor. Watch the EGR valve on those cars though. All the LT1 full size cars. Still not a big deal to replace.
I have a 96 wagon with 263k and it runs like brand new. Love your SS wheels. I want to do that and put the SS grill in mine too, then wood panel delete and maybe a deep color.
I have a 95 LT1 my Sedan does not have a Belt Driven fan, but 2 Electric fans, that surprised me to see a belt driven fan on a LT1, whereas the waterpump is driven by the cam shaft.
looks sweet...I'd like to get one someday, would it be a good touring car? ..say a road trip across country?(not talking about fuel, talking about comfort)...and were the LT1 motors corvette too?
how about 22 -26 mpg...!!! thats what Im talkin about ... I have 5 of these badboys..all between 28-80,000 miles...91 's and 96's only ...all brand new california leather package only in each..loaded with all options.../
@EvanQuinn07 yeah they are great. they are comfortable and give you a great smoothe ride, they have power and they are really fun to drive and very comfortable
i got a 1992 buick roadmaster sedan with the regular 350 mines got a 160000 miles on it i would love to restore it someday.....also i heard they were bringing the roadmaster back in 2010
@burnoutt360 compare to back than american cars had more to offer than europeans.example 1988 pontiac had steering control on the gta.airbag 1990
you power seat power windows heated seats.i don t think most europeans maby bmw mercedes had that.what do you think of buick today ?.regal 2010 is opel insgnia.not a real regal
LOVE your roadmaster! i've always loved these cars...always has been my favorite....i saw one that had only 11K miles on it but they wanted $20K for it!!! seeing that its getting harder and harder to find these roadmasters without 200K miles on it, i would look into a dodge magnum sxt or rt when you are looking for your next purchase...i got one of those now and i loove it.. but NIIIIICE wagon man
yeah but what is really cool is GM came out with the new cadillac CTS Sport Wagon that is soposrt to be really nice and avilible in reaer wheel or all wheel dove the only bad thing is that it is only avalible in a V6 thasnks for the comment though
ooh yeah i've been seeing that on tv i really love those...nothing wrong with the V6 i'd take one...my magnum has 3.5L (AWD is optional) and it has more than adequate power, averaging about 28-29 on interstate and 22 around town so i'm pleased. funny thing is that its brother the charger, and its sister the 300, dont get the same gas mileage for some reason they are worse... so go wagons lol
yeah its the same thing only it has 91K on it instead of 180K and i swapped the wheels the new one also has heated seats, tow package and stock cd tape. and it has the hood ordament and stock grill on it.
Oh yeah, I had a '93 Estate Wagon . My plates read "MULEWGN" . I'm a big Gov 't Mule fan , and that was my tribute to them . I sold my '93 , but my wife has the understanding that I WILL buy another...
'94-'96 . Not only do they pack the LT1 , I understand the suspension is improved (if that's possible) . It's cool to see a young guy that has an appreciation for a car that's not an obvious classic , i.e. Vette, Chevelle, etc. People that own these know they're a well-kept secret .
Love it!! Gorgeous!

@7255202 what year is it? and a corvette Lt1 i believe is the standard engine, what year is it?

I'm 20 years old and I believe that this is what every car should be. Massive, V8, rear wheel drive, and built like a tank.
