hello your hair looks nice and healthy.. but i notice when i used the Shea butter (Cantu) it makes my hair white I just don't know why . I wash it out and its like it turned my hair white.lol.. But i really wanted to know please was what is the name of your new camera its really clear I really would love to know cuz i would like to make videos someday.. Really!? Thats interesting! I know it made little white balls in my hair when I mixed it with gel..lol! The camera is a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-H2 and I had it for a couple years now taking pictures with it and realize it makes high quality videos too. I'm pretty sure you can get it for much cheaper now. Amazon has them on sale right as low as $110! I hope that helps =)

i started to buy cantu but quickly put it back when i discovered that petroleum is in it...maybe that is what makes it white? i did not however read the ingredients in the leave-in conditioner, is this working for you?

Can you possibly put up a video doing a micro-coil set? You're the only person I've seen on youtube whose hair is short enough and I've never seen this style done.

This video is back in April and my hair has grown a bit since then so I don't know if the coil set will actually stay well but I can try. I will try to do it within the next couple of weeks =)

oh yes, this combo moisturizes the hair so well! i found this out for myself (just this week)...w/o having even come across this vid. :-) i apply it on my wet hair in the a.m., then when i come home from work i just apply my whipped shea butter, plastic cap, bonnet then scarf. wake up in the a.m.[God willing], spritz it w/ water & veggie glyc to "wake up" my hair, pick it out some and apply some more cantu restore some of my front wave pattern that disappears from the picking.

I definitely have to try your routine. I just apply the Cantu Shea Butter at night and wake up do my co wash and then put my leave in conditioner and gel in but yours sound good too! Thanks for sharing sis! =)

i forgot to mention that you should tuck a a sheet of facial tissue under the plastic cap, to prevent getting the line in your forehead. :-)

lol @ coils blowing in the wind, I feel you girl. I have the natural shea butter and the cantu, I use the cantu all the time but I shy away from using the natural shea butter bcuz it left my hair with a yellowish tint lol, did u use ures on ure scalp or in your hair.

LOL! I used it on my hair but next time I won't put as much as I did in because the next day it made my hair kind of frizzy.

I think I didn't mix it very well. Now what I do is melt the Raw Shea Butter and then mix it with the Cantu and it works sooo much better! You can also add your fav oils in it as well. Check out my response video. I do the new mixture. :)

I use those 2 products together sometimes too. It's not so bad actually. It also helps me to preserve my Sweet Nature by Eddie products when I am running low.
