  • Are they just normal zip ties or are there different widths of zip ties? I remember attempting to put a zip tie on another knife and the thumb stud screw hole being too narrow.

  • stonewash finish

  • good collection and good idea for quick opening knife, thx.

  • Where did you get the custom thumb rest on the voyager? The one where you flick out of the pocket? Thanks,

  • @JPEBeard its just a zip tie :)

  • @lexousa Very Clever! I thought it was metal! LOL... cool..

  • @lexousa Is it removable the way the recon i mean 2 screws or is it just one screw you can just unscrew without having to hold one side not moving

  • @togashigr11 yep its removable!!!

  • Great collection. Thanks for choosing Cold Steel. We're very proud of the new Voyager line up. I'm glad you liked them :)

  • @csknives thank you very much! love CS... :) there is no knife company that can beat 2011 voyager series today!!!

  • @lexousa I saw the quality control tests for the new Voyager line firsthand and I truly believe they are the strongest sharpest knives in the world at that price. We are all very proud of them :)

  • @csknives i'm with ya on that one! they are best knifes today!!!

  • That is one hell of a collection man, wow. Did any of the customs get any blade play? I have heard that it happens with most of the series.

  • @thelockkk i have never had that problem yet! they are built like a tank! :)

  • @lexousa

That is good to know, I hope you will do reviews on the two customs! :)

  • @thelockkk I disagree. The custom classics were built to the highest specs. Incredibly strong knives

  • @csknives

I know, I love the designs and I am a huge fan of cold steel, but after doing some research I found out that some of the liner lock models developed some play. I will pm you a link to one of the vids.

  • @thelockkk Interesting. Thanks for getting in touch. I've had my Caledonian Edge for 5-6 years now and it's held up just fine. I see that the gentleman in question received a replacement blade. I'm glad it was resolved for him. That particular model is no longer available but they remain popular collectors items. Thanks for your feedback. CS
