  • The super Connie I gotta say is pretty ugly. If the gear was shorter it would look cool. I subbed!

  • Thank's for Soviet aircrafts! =)

  • oldschoolplanes are the best!!

  • Good-the only CGI vid i have ever watched all the way through-altho I soon dumped the sound!

  • Very well done, thank you!... I'm an (FSX) piston-propliner pilot myself, love engineers panels and power management in flight. Long live the R-2800 & R-3350, and those who know what BMEP is and why it is important.

  • Very nice & entertaining....enjoying it thoroughly!

  • In 1959, the same year that the hotel opened, Air France introduced the sleek new jet. Its breezy sound recalled its inspiration: the Iberian caravela, or as the French called them, caravelles - fast, light 15th century sailing ships that explored the world in search of foreign trade, adventure and new horizons. What better name for a hotel that was partly owned by Air France and that has served as the carrier's Saigon home ever since?

  • BEAUTIFUL! Love the music! Too bad we couldn't include a Martin 202 or 404! Thanks for the memories!

  • @hoosierdaddy921 watch music?

  • nice video!!

would you mind leaving me the links to where you got the trident, VC-10 and tri-star?

it's just that I love those planes, and am never able to find a good one on the internet. thanks!!

  • can someone explain to me the point of this? like it's all digital, i dont get it???

  • @SunglassesShow It's that you have to create all these. The planes, the logos, the sounds, the airports, it's just a game, and then trying to fly the planes, land them.... Don't compare it to a video of planes!!!

  • @SunglassesShow The people who create these videos of airplanes from their flight simulator programs don't have the courtesy to label them as simulations. So you come here thinking you're going to see the real thing, but you don't. How hard is it to put the word "SIM" in the title so you don't waste people's time?

  • me gustaría saber que aeropuerto es , ¿nadie lo sabe?

Es precioso el video y la música

  • first one is the best ; )

  • Excellent compilation

  • The Trident . . I read once in an aeroplane magaaine that an ex-Trident pilot said the only reason a Trident ever got airborne was because of the curvature of the earth ! Like the Comet, another great UK aircraft idea but poorly executed, under-powered, too late, and too short in capacity and range.

  • DC-4, great cold war era freighter...Put the muscle into Trumans Actions during the Famous Berlin Airlift. For the uninitiated, that was in response to the Soviets attempt to isolate Berlin, and squeeze out the US, Britain, and France. Closed down the over land routes, but left the air lanes alone...BIG mistake...

  • great stuff really nice to view and good soundtrack.

    enjoyed it

  • This is quite an interesting video! Nice!

  • just another video simulation, right? why not labeling this properly, make us wasting our time clicking your craps

  • where did u download the comet??

  • way to go my friend, more like this please

  • hey dude i like all your videos do u got some kind of messenger

  • I love it!!

  • Rly good landings but what about 707?

  • Brilliant. Thank you!

  • too bad you didn't have a DC-9 in it

  • fk you che video de mierda no me da nada solo pobbres imagenes de un tv azteca decadente y un faitelson en medio de una desgracia premeditada de una televisora en medio de crisis sin soluciones...................

  • what music? nice

  • With due respect, it just can't be the Macao Airport....

The Macao airport was opened in November 1995, during Portuguese rule. Before then the territory only had 2 temporary airports for small aeroplanes.

In the 1960s and 70s Portugal (and Macao) did not have any connection with Eastern European and communist countries, it could have been not possible to land there Czechoslovak or Cuban airplanes.

So it is still a question, which airport is this?

  • During my 50 yrs in alaska i had the good fortune to fly [as a pasenger] in most of the Boeing jets from the 707 to the 747, 757 aqnd later as well a DC 4,6,7c and 10 and lockheed electra and connie, fokker F27 and C82 boxcar and others.

  • Very nice-thanks for uploading. I remember all these aircraft, bar the TWA L749, the British Eagle Britannia and the PAA DC4. What is the music-very well matched-nostalgic.

  • macau, i worked it out =)

  • Dear Toy2day,

Thanks. it was such feast to the eyes, ears and soul. This posting made me teary as it took me to the golden bygone days of so much hopes. God bless you. Thank you again. I shall be greatful if you could help me figure out what music is it.

  • how the heck did you get the TU-104 (2:32) how did you get the engines running??? do u speak russian at all???

  • I don't speak russian at all, I just followed instructions trying to match the words visually! Hard job.. Once done, I saved it as a "ready to fly plane" and when I play it I just reload it!!

  • my gosh...

    i would have tried that!

I actually tried it but gave up after realizing i was out of fuel because of a previous flight and for the fact i can only fly Boeing or airbus well!!

  • Hey you need to add the Tu-144 :P

  • I didnt have it then, if you check my videos, there is a dedicated video I made for the TU144!

  • Comment removed

  • Best FS video on the tube!

  • could you tell us the avsim file names because thats the best way of finding aircraft on there

  • I think there is a search area on avsim. Avsim however, is closed I think

  • Very nice vid!

  • thanks!

  • I love the music, although you replaced your original music. I think its the same music that Pan Am played in their cabins when you boarded their aircraft if I remember rightly. It its not then its very very simmilar. lovely memories flying those 747's, thanks for giving me some lovely memories

  • I had to change music, due to copyright issues. Thanks for comments!!

  • nice smooth landings!

  • So fucking boring & easy to make.

Why the hell do all u wanabee pilos keep uploading boring nonreal flightsim recordings.

    Come on.

Buy a ticket & record a real flight instead. Far more interesting.

    Mike.

  • First of all, I write "FS2004" on the Title of the video, there are some "idiots" like me who like simulators. Second, if yoy see my channel, you'll notice there are LOADS of videos I recorded myself (inflight) and some compilations of real airplane videos I borrowed from the web. Be more careful before commenting!!

  • well said mate.

ive onty got as far as Flight simulator X! but am enjoying trying to fly!

keep up your good work and we shant listen to people who abuse us on u'tube. its for fun!

  • vai dormir mike vai pra casa

  • where did ya get the Swissair CV-990, Bac 1 11, the dc-8 and the TriStar ?

  • search in avsim!!

  • trouble is, sometimes when i try to download something in Avsim, it would freeze and and close. thats seriously annoying. and have u seen how many people commented on this vid cause its so good? i was searching this for ages! thats just great vid.

  • Thanks a lot mate!!! Try simviation as well!!!

  • gotta love the Bristol Britannia, its made in bristol so it must be good!

  • The plant was in Filton actually...

  • filton is part of bristol!

  • Nice:) *****

  • Top notch, this was a very enjoyable video to watch, I was relaxed completely and the music created an ambient vibe which can only be described as exquisite. In this frame of mind I can see all the good that come from both aviation and the internet, the latter can indeed be good with the right people and the right mindset, I salute you toy2day, pioneer of youtube and all round good egg, good day to you and may all your days be filled with sunshine.

  • Thanks!!

  • those planes are landing at macau international airport

  • cool video, I collect many of these older aircraft models in a 1:400 scale. I did not realize the TU-134's landing gear wheels were so swung back compared to the 747 and other later model aircaft where the wheels are positioned the other way.

  • very good video and thanks for the airplane names. They helped me alot. I even like the music thanks for the posting.

  • ok seriusly im getting annoyed by the ppl that leave the lables above their own airplane... do you need to be reminded every 4 seconds what airplane and airline you are flying??

  • The labels are for those who don't know all the airplanes of this era!

  • yes

  • Too much !

    Thanks.

    Malcolm Farren.

    Vancouver.B.C.

  • nice!!

  • Great video, love the Connie, what airport was this filmed at.

  • Great movie and great fitting music.

I enjoyed watching it, im a fan of old planes in fs9.

  • where did you get the de havilland comet

  • It;s in the same site I found the Trident and the 1-11! I can't remember, but I think it was simviation

  • Good old days 5/5 hey where did you get the Tu-104 I looked everywhere!

  • I can't remember, but search for TU-124!!!

  • Oh ok THX! do you still have all this planes?

  • What is the difference between tu-104 and tu-124? they look exactly alike!

  • I looked on wikipedia and I looked on their speed stats and stuff and it looks like the tu-104 is better it's faster then it can carry more people and other stuff...

  • The Tu-124 is smaller, but was less popular among communist countries, as it was slower and less effective per-passenger! This one here is TU-124

  • What flight simulator did you use?

  • The Brit planes are from David Maltby's website. Just google David Maltby.

Nice video! Such great old planes.

  • where did u get the comet mate

  • It's an english site, I cannot remember it. It also has (free) Bae 1-11, VC-10 and Trident. google it!

  • Hey, thats only computer animated. :(

  • nice job! 5 stars

  • What, no DC-9? Did I miss the DC-9?

  • I used GameCam 1.3, which I believe it's the greatest video recorder for games.

  • Very cool! What aiport are you landing at?

  • youtube

    Montseny 1970

  • I don't want to sound like a dope...but are these real aircraft or computer simulation?

  • computer simulation. FS2004 I would have thought.

  • The Super VC-10 was the best for me. Beautiful video.

  • Thanx!! And welcome to youtube!!!

  • tell me about the musics please!!!

  • 1. The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss) By Cher (1964)

    2. Twist and Shout by the Beatles 1964 (original by Top Notes)

    3. California Dreamin' by The Mamas and the Papas (1965)
