kids are so indotrinated by the classic witch evil pointy hat image on tv. What is the agenda of the creators to even include such notions in kids of such a young age?

Mr. Karloff died a few years before Sesame Street even started, so this wasn't him. Vincent Price or Christopher Lee would've been great for it though! To hear Karloff narrate something, watch the timely cartoon, "The Grinch that Stole Christmas" ...and have a merry one!
