  • I'm not sure what Leah would make of all that (the girl in the photo) but I'm glad you like the manipulation of her photo. I can't do much with the 10 year old scanning program (on an even older computer) that I use so to make these images. So, I try to find interesting ways to use the few tools it has to offer. It's nice to be limited (sometimes) because it forces one to be more creative. I'm glad you appreciated the effort (those old programs take forever to do anything with).

  • The visual sequence from 0:43 to 1:21 is mind-boggling. That's such a terrific face at 0:43 - so visually interesting. It's some ethereal other-worldly countenance holding the secrets of the pyramids. You could build a religion around that face!

  • @intormentis (oops... see above)

  • This is a very interesting piece - it reminds me the most of the kind of music you would hear in a 1970s NBC Thursday night at the movies. Doesn't sound like 70s TV movie music? Sounds great.

  • @intormentis To be honest, a lot of my musical sensibilities were focused through 70s "made for TV scores" as that was my real introduction to jazz, new music, the avant guard and many other musical styles... but I didn't even realize it at the time. But, I suppose it does filter through, a bit in everything I do... perhaps, in this piece more so.

  • dude, that is sexay!!

you always write the most interesting stuff..

  • @rformidable Gee, thanks. Glad you liked it. I never really though much of the piece other than it's kind of neat.
