every hatin on her or sayin "no offense" or "i could do better" or something like that, just dont comment. It fine to feel proud of yourself and all but it sounds like youre bragging, and braggarts are obnoxious, "no offense" to those that are trying to say you did better or whatever (:
I go to IGI 9illinois gymnastics institute and we almost have the same routine but ours is longer and we do level four dismounts but that was great you had your legs together and you just went with the flow! it was beautiful!!
for six, she does wonderfully. Great handstand, she just needs to hold it longer. I have seen girls do the handstand about half of the way she got it up to, for barely a second, and they still got first on beam, so great job. good luck in the future!!!
I am a Level 3 AAU certified coach in South Florida and that routine was great. I strongly disagree with the people who want to nit-pick when this is one of the best videos I've seen. First of all, the first handstand isn't even required to be vertical, it is called a partial handstand. As for the dismount, you can choose to do side handstand with or without the quarter turn, both of which hold the same value. This gymnast went above and beyond Level 3 requirements. Very good job!
@sk8ergymgurl totally agree with you. The USA level 3 is not required to have a vertical. My daughter is the same level doing the exact same routine. The dismount is exactly how my daughter does it and the quarter turn was never taught to them because it is part of the Level 4 routine. As for people saying she was pulled to a lower lever so she could win is outrageous to even think, she was only 6/7 yrs old here and I think she did amazing! good work!
Thanks~ The dismount was correct for AAU Level 3 here in GA. In USA 4 she had to do what you're describing. Now she's training USA 5... growing up too fast!
maybe its different state to state, its not supposed to be but i guess it is. all over fla it is the way i described. thats strange. they have to do it in level 3 and 4 here.
her handstands are straighter than mine but there are only three steps : one big and two small!! I love her split jump i need to get mine wider! Great Job
Agreed. This was only her second meet of the season, though. She won beam at State with a 9.900. USAG scoring is more difficult for sure but she's still learning and winning. I promise to take and upload some videos this season.
What level are you competing now? Good luck to you.
When I just turned 6 i had to do level 4 and I got 1st place no offence but someone sent this to me and they also said I bet they just put her in a lower level so that she could win how cheap because I bet she would lose if she was put into level 4 and the person said she most spend 24/7 there like I said no offence
Thanks for your comments. No offense taken. Last season she was a Level 3, and the year before then a Level 2. This fall she is competing at USA4 (age 7). She practices 12 hours/week. She's doing great this year, too. She got a 38.025 AA yesterday (vault was best event). Thanks again for your interest.
OH MY GOODNESS! I remember when I was on level 3!!! We had the same routine!! :)
