I hate how the modern Russian anthem is the SAME TUNE xept different lyrics including something about 'god' like WTF, how dare you try to erase Lenin from history, denying 1917 and class issues and marx's influence now is doing a great disservice to their country and the world especially as we see a revival of those ideas in Latin America which in the 70's and 80's was a bastion of imperial capitalist facism

@ViperRob42 it was Yeltsin who changed the Soviet Anthem to something that didn't even sound remotely like this. he wanted to erase it. President Putin is the reason our current Anthem is being used. He even had the man who wrote the Anthem of the Soviet Union write lyrics that would go with the Anthem of Russia. If we were trying to erase Lenin from our history then we would remove ALL of his statues, and his mausoleum.

@KillerXify this was the October parade, to celebrate the October Revolution. Lenin led it, Stalin did not. If you were to look at videos of Parades back when Stalin was in power, you will see just about as many posters of him as there are of Lenin.
