  • You got to be kidding. There were no RPG's and mortars fired. This guys is a coward.

  • Hey Turk, try getting shot at and lets see how you react...

  • This Geraldo Rivera is a clown and an agent of hand that controls the world...dont believe this shit or you are supporting the war against the people of this planet....fuck Rivera and his new channel...

  • the subtitles are making me LOL

  • who the hell did the closed captioning?

  • Your retarded. If you were in the middle of a gunfight between a countries military and a group of rebels would you really be like "yeah i got shot at, nothing big." or would you be more like "holy crap there were bullets flying, bombs dropping, i was in the middle of it all it was crazy and scary! i feared for my life!?" probably not the first. also if you look at it literally- he was with the rebels, so when the military shot at them, they were also targeting him. just sayin...

  • So... Storm-Troopers were firing on Geraldo and his crew then?

    O_o

  • THIS is what journalists getting attacked by soldiers look like:

  • come on haters this presenter guy jus sits on his fucked up youtube channel & funnels out shit playing the grown up like most of us watchin r dumb. hating on Geraldo of all pple, a guy whose risked his life to bring you the story. journalists have been killed in libya this war is no joke. gaddafi's forces bomb the shit out of anyone and anything that moves thats y the UN passed the resolution for christ sake.

  • @TheDiego2208 Cool story, bro.

  • No, I think you're pretty spot on, I would say the guy was in danger, but not being actively fired on, and Fox news was definitely milking it for all it was worth.

  • who is this geraldo? is he a comedian? I find this man very funny

  • @markgunna1 best comment here

  • You mean they didn't GET him? What good are they???

  • I actually think it looks kinda staged... Not saying it's all fake, but the camerawork reminds me of Jerry Springer when they make it look like a big fight when it's just 2 people punching the air. It just looks like everything's a bit off, people running around like they're being shot at in a comedy etc, I could be wrong. Thing that makes me think so the most: Somebody would stop Geraldo from running around in the open if it was a serious situation.

It is faux news after all...

  • @davefgranger How does that relate to this? That made absolutely no sense.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Turn on your brain, he is saying Fox Noise is about as close to fiction as Avatar is.

  • @mewimi First: Learn to type correctly. Second: Avatar is fictional, Fow News reports the news. Last time I checked, the news is non-fiction.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Honest news? I think not. Back in June, Fox news ran a story saying that a "massive stretch of Arizona is now off limits to Americans. they said Obama admin is "giving a major strip of the Southwest back to Mexico.". That is obviously not true, and after Fox was debunked, they continued to report that the land was "quietly surrendered" to "Mexican drug gangs and illegals.". The land is actually part of a national wildlife refuge.

    Continued in next comment

  • @Cerberus5159 Where did you hear that story? I watch Fox News everyday, never once did I hear them report that.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Another one was back in July when they hyped the "Black Panther Scandal". More than 100 times in 17 days, Fox hyped the phony scandal that Obama's Justice Dept. was racially corrupt in the new Black Panther Case, The false allegations were made by a Republican activist named J. Christian Adams, and were promoted by Megyn Kelly.

  • @Cerberus5159 The "Back Panther Party" was intimadating voters, just to vote for Obama.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 They were also responsible for the firing of Shirley Sherrod, by airing the highly edited clip released by Andrew Breitbart, without giving it proper context. Want more examples? I could go on.

  • @Cerberus5159 Cerberus? Really? You're just following me on Youtube? So what examples do you have? Don't lie.

  • @thegolfguy1234567

I'm not following you, I've been watching TYT since 2007.

Fox News aired a story saying that the LAPD bought thousands of Jetpacks for officers.

Fox News' Parent company donated $2.25 million to GOP related groups, while claiming to be "Fair & Balanced".

Megyn Kelly claimed Fox News isn't bias, and that she watches all the time and never sees it, and in the same day, Bill O'Reilly showed a very conservative bias in an interview.

    Fair & balanced+Bias=Lie.

  • @Cerberus5159 They donate to their own group. The "Fair and balanced" claim is; they report the news fair and balanced. Fox News has a conservative bias, at the same time, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, they all have a liberal bias.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 But Fox is the only network to endorse, and practically campaign for Republican candidates. I don't care about a slight bias to the left or right, but when you bring on people running for congress, senate etc, and give them a platform for donations, that's not fair or balanced. Reporting on a secret Muslim caliphate in the ruins of Babylon isn't reporting fair and balanced news.

  • @Cerberus5159 MSNBC does the same thing, Cerberus. Also, Fox News never reported anything about a Muslim caliphate in Babylon. Those allegations you're accusing them of, are false.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 When has anyone on MSNBC said "please, please help" when referring to donating to a candidate? On Fox, Dick Morris said (about Mitt Romney's presidential campaign) "please, please help". And do you watch Glen Beck? On the Fox News channel, he spreads his radical conspiracies out as if they're fact, and preaches about how the end of the world is coming.

  • @Cerberus5159 you're suggesting that about Glenn Beck, actually watch his show. Glenn Beck is not racist. Dick Morris said that because with Obama in office, this country needs help. Glenn Beck says the country is going downhill, he never says that the world is coming to an end.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Actually, I never said Beck is a racist, though I do think he's out of his mind. Beck actually said that he believes we are in the end times, and was promptly torn a new ass by Larry O'Donnell. You just admitted that fox isn't fair and balanced, just because they believe that Obama isn't a good president, doesn't give them the right to claim "Fair and Balanced" while begging for donations to conservatives, sorry, but they jut aren't fair and balanced.

  • @Cerberus5159 Ok, whatever. You're being stuborn. Believe your lies and I'll believe my facts.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Haha. Good luck with that caliphate thing, be sure to vote Beck for Archduke of the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is surely coming. I mean, Glenn said that the Japan nuclear crisis is signaling the end times, he must be right. It's time to prepare.

  • @Cerberus5159 Actually, Fox News has never begged for donations to conservatives. They are fair and balanced because every night they have democratic guests to ask for their opinion on the topic.

  • @thegolfguy1234567

That doesn't change the fact that they lie, nor does it change the fact that Fox anchors have asked viewers to donate to Republican candidates. Any news source that claims to be "Fair& Balanced" Is not balanced if every anchor on said network doesn't keep their bias to themselves. Lying, being biased and asking for donations to a specific party is not fair and balanced, Sure, Fox does report some news segments accurately, like Brett Baier, but that doesn't outweigh their lies.

  • @Cerberus5159 They do not lie! Where did you hear of Fox News anchors asking for donations to Republicans?

  • @thegolfguy1234567 That was actually a typo on my part, I meant to say "analysts". And I've already given an example of that. Bottom line, you can't claim to be fair of you lie and you can't clam to be balanced if you are biased.

  • @Cerberus5159 Of you lie? Also, give me an example of their lies. And yes, you can be fair and balanced when you're biased. As long as you listen to both sides of the story. Unlike MSNBC, CNN, etc.

P.S. Even analysts haven't asked for donations.

  • @thegolfguy1234567

Want some lies? Here you go.

Fox News's Martha MacCallum presented a clip of Vice President Joe Biden saying "the fundamentals of the economy are strong" -- and presented it as from an interview that weekend. In fact, the clip came from a 2008 campaign event at which Biden was quoting Sen. John McCain.

    More continued in next comment.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 , Fox News's Wendell Goler reported on an Obama question-and-answer session that was cut short to make it seem as if the president wanted a health care system "like the European countries." In fact, he was just restating a question -- he went on to say that he opposed such a system.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Fox News's Jon Scott said the network had decided to look back on how the stimulus "grew, and grew, and grew." In fact, the entire report came from a Senate Republican Communications Center press release, complete with typo.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Fox News's Trace Gallagher and Bill Sammon claimed that Senate Democrats would like provisions of the PATRIOT Act that helped catch a suspected terrorist to "go bye-bye." It was a total distortion of both the proposed changes and the terror case.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 On the news show "America's Pulse," E.D. Hill described Barack and Michelle Obama's fist bump at a campaign event last summer as a "terrorist fist jab." She later apologized and claimed that was how it had been "characterized in the media."

And yes, analysts have. I refer you back to what Dick Morris said.

  • @Cerberus5159 He never asked for a donation though. Also, what channel was "America's Pulse" on?

  • @thegolfguy1234567 First off, wow, I give facts about their lies, you ignore them and ask a stupid question. A simple google search will answer it for you.

    Continued in next comment.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 In the run-up to the January 19 special Senate election in Massachusetts, Fox News hosted Republican candidate Scott Brown several times for softball interviews and provided a forum for Brown to raise funds. Fox News personalities like Dick Morris made explicit appeals on Brown's behalf, telling viewers to "please, please help" Brown.

    Continued...

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Stuart Varney claimed that "your 401(k) could do well" in response to a Brown victory, and Bret Baier compared Brown's candidacy to the "Miracle on Ice."

  • @Cerberus5159 What are these examples of?

  • @thegolfguy1234567 If you can't figure that out for yourself then you are literally too stupid to argue with.

  • @Cerberus5159 Well stop being a douche and tell me.

P.S. You're too stupid to know Fox doesn't lie.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Here's the fact, kiddo. I have given facts that Fox does indeed lie, you are too stupid to understand them, not my fault.

You say Fox doesn't lie. My facts say they do. Your argument is invalid.

  • @Cerberus5159 Lmao!! I didn't know you were a comedian. Cerberus, I don't see where you gave an example of them lying.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 *sigh*. Your stupidity, ignorance and lack of understanding has hit a new high. I'm sitting here laughing at you now. You apparently have trouble reading, and if you don't, you certainly have trouble understanding. I've provided plenty of examples of their lies. Honestly, I think you're just trolling now. Nobody could be that stupid.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Though I've already said this once, I'll say it again. Bill Hemmer reported that Department of Education official Kevin Jennings knew of a "statutory rape" case involving a 15-year-old student but "never reported it." In fact, the student was above the age of consent.

THEY LIED. There is a lie, plain and simple. They said he allowed statutory rape, but the student was above the age of consent, which means it wasn't. There's another lie, right there. They lie, you lose.

  • @Cerberus5159 Oh yeah? And whom did you hear that from?

  • @thegolfguy1234567 I saw a video of them saying it.

  • @Cerberus5159 You know, people alter the words of news anchors all the time; just to create controversy.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Now you're delving into conspiracies. I saw the unedited video, it was a big deal when it happened, accept it, they lie. I've given facts, you continue to dodge them. You've completely failed to prove your point, and are now just sounding desperate, I'm laughing each time I read your comments.

  • @Cerberus5159 Lmao!! I'm the one delving in conspiracies? You're the one whom believes that Fox lies. You are embarassing yourself. Cerberus, accept it, they don't lie.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 You're obviously trolling, nobody could be this stupid. I've given facts and you just claim it's altered words. It's sad. This argument is going absolutely nowhere, you are the reason that kids shouldn't be able to use the internet, you have zero clue what you're talking about. I have had some arguments with some pretty stupid people, but you take the cake.

  • @Cerberus5159 You haven't given any facts. Those are not facts. You are so ignorant, saying a video on the internet is a fact.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 This is getting ridiculous. I saw the video, anyone can see the video. In the video, you can see and hear everything that Bill Hemmer is saying, it's a fact. I'm done with this argument, I'm gonna be this bigger person and leave. We're getting into name calling and going in circles. If you are too dull to do even the slightest research and believe everything you see on TV, then arguing with you would be equivalent to arguing with a dining room table. Good luck, kid.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Oh, and one more thing, you say that Fox must be true because it gets the highest ratings. Huffington Post is the most visited news website on the internet, and they're liberal, so by your logic, you agree with everything they say, it has to be true, it gets the highest ratings.

  • @Cerberus5159 The Huffington post reports a bunch of false information. They're the highest rated because there are an equal amount of idiots.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 The same could be said about Fox.

  • @Cerberus5159 Bu it won't be. You know that. I'm trying to help you out. Fox is a great news source. That is not a joke.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 It has been said. And I'll stick to Huffington post, it has the highest ratings, it has to be true. Give me an example of them lying.

  • @Cerberus5159 They said George Bush mad a mess of the economy. Look at Obama, he has quadrupled the national deficeit since he was sworn in. George Bush helped out the economy, he cut taxes, Obama raised them.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 If you seriously believe that then you should check out this website;

    zfacts (dot) com / p / 318 (dot) html

  • @Cerberus5159 Sir, even you should be smart enough to now a lie from the truth. Look at the facts, Bush did a great job with the economy. Oh, I bet you are one of those nut-jobs whom believe that Bush planned 9/11.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 No, Muslims planned 9/11. Don't try to change the subject. The unemployment level rose under Bush, the Recession started under Bush, the national debt grew under Bush, Foreclosures rose under Bush. Saying that Bush helped the economy is laughable.

  • @Cerberus5159 No, the unemployment rose under Obama; the debt rose under Obama. Everything bad rose under Obama. Saying Bush didn't do a good job is ignorant.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 So you're saying that the recession didn't start in 2007, under Bush? You're saying that the defecit didn't rise under Bush? Holy shit, that's hilarious. Seriously.

  • @Cerberus5159 I know the recession started in 2007. That's because Bush was offering solutions, but the democrats kept vitoing everything he suggested.

Once again, Bush did a good job. At the end the democrats got in his way and they are the ones to blame.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 The Democrats didn't have the presidency, they didn't have veto power.

  • @Cerberus5159 Theyhad the house. If it was going to pass, it needed to be approved by the house, which they didn't pass it.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 That's not a veto.

  • @Cerberus5159 Are you really pointing that out. Look at the big picture. The Democrats didn't pass the tax cuts. They want to raise taxes, Bush didn't. The Democrats caused everything bad to rise. (Debt, foreclosure, etc.)

  • @thegolfguy1234567 What are you talking about? The tax cuts weren't even set to expire until 2010!

The non-partisan Congressional Research Service has estimated the 10-year revenue loss from extending the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts beyond 2010 at $2.9 trillion, with an additional $606 billion in debt service costs (interest), for a combined total of $3.5 trillion. They don't work.

  • @Cerberus5159 Ugh! You're being incoherent. I'm done with this because you can't see the obvious point. Enjoy life, you miserable man.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 I like how you don't let facts get in the way ;)

    Bye :D

  • @Cerberus5159 Really, don't call me a hypocite, but that was smug. You're an adult using a happy face? Lol, that made my night. Thank you. :D :P

  • @thegolfguy1234567 I'm actually 16. And again, bye! :D

  • @Cerberus5159 We're only three years apart. High five!!

  • @thegolfguy1234567 I'll pass.

  • @Cerberus5159 Come on, bro. Let's find common ground. Stop fighting, and start joking. Really, I don't want a person who hates me.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 That's...unexpected....

  • @Cerberus5159 Yeh, I know. But I don't want to argue. I don't think you do either.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Also, the unemployment level has gone down under Obama, it's at 8.8, it was at 9

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Also, this debate isn't about other networks. I'm not saying that MSNBC is hinest, I'm saying that Fox isn't. Don't try to flip it around.

  • @Cerberus5159 *honest

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Wow, type correctly? This is a youtube comments section. Avatar IS fictional obviously, and so is Fox Noise. That is the POINT HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE. Are you that dense?

  • @mewimi I knew what the point was. It is a dumb point. Nothing will change just because you call it Fox "Noise."

  • @thegolfguy1234567 No, it doesn't deserve the respect to be called "news" it is Fox Noise. Because it is a propaganda think tank and you have fallen for it, all that is left is that you spend all of your money on Gold and Non Hybrid Survival Seeds.

  • @mewimi You, sir, are a nut-job.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Actually I am female, and your opinion of me is far from truthful. That is what you get for watching Fox Noise, lies = truth and the louder you scream those lies, the more you and others believe them.

  • 100% fake brought to you buy desperate noise reporter

  • lol " it started with a single "bad" sniper shot," Geraldo meant to say or he wouldn't be saying anything at all!

  • why report news when you can just create news........ fox philosophy........ all that was missing was a teddy bear covered in ketchup in the foreground and maybe a teeny tiny sandal...... blammo...... Pulitzer...... chicks, coke and fame....... that's all anybody really wants eh?

  • @niallS707 If Fox News is made-up, why are they the highest rated news network?

  • @thegolfguy1234567 If that is a serious question, then that was the most ignorant one I have heard today.

  • @mewimi Haha, I'm ignorant? Look at the ratings Glenn Beck: 2.2 million Bill O' Reilly; he is the most viewed man on news at 5:00 p>m

  • @thegolfguy1234567 Do you actually believe ratings = factual unbias news? Then you are nuts.

  • @mewimi You just can't accept hat Fow News is dominating. They're the only network I trust; along with the rest of the true Americans, unlike you.

  • @thegolfguy1234567 HAHAHAHAHAHA I love how brainwashed you are. "True Americans watch fox noise" you mean truly brainwashed Americans watch Fox Noise. You sir are a corporate puppet helping to spread the dogma they regularly declare as fact when they know very well it is fiction.

But hey, whatever makes the extra dollar right? I suggest you start educating yourself by turning off Fox Noise and moving onto google and verifying their "facts" with multiple sources.

  • @mewimi well said

  • @thegolfguy1234567 coz he's a shock-jock...they talk a lot of shit, and it gets ratings...aren't you familiar with this concept?

  • Breaking News Geraldo is a drama queen .....

  • Total drama queen that guy. If this was such a hot shot firefight with snipers targeting them, why is that soldier walking calmly around Geraldo when he is himself on the ground

  • They should put a microphone in Obama's hand and let him walk around Libya!!

  • Richard Engel does that shit all day and doesn't showboat after it.

  • Rofl, seriously, if this isn't fake, I'll eat my hat.

Who gets shot at (by mortars and RPGs no less), jogs about 20 feet and then lies down right out in the open and just talks to the camera as if hes safe?

  • The thing is... this video just looks fake. I mean, you can TELL that this was doctored by the reaction on Geraldo's face, he's CLEARLY lying Cenk, how cant you see that?

  • If someone were "targeting" Geraldo, that person would usually hit him.

  • @aedgar777 also, the fire didn't even sound that close. My guess is that he heard some loud bangs in the distance and freaked out.

  • At least he didn't map out the rebels position in the dirt!

  • Keep Flagging TYT as Spam people, until Youtube wakes up and bans this idiot.

  • "130 Miles" away he claims the Kaddafi is hold up, is it just me that missunderstud him, or does he claim that they are shoting at him from a distans of 130 miles, with rpg and snipers... sounds abit to far....

any one that has been nere a firingn gun can hee that he shots are passing some hundred meters atleast away from the cameraman.

    so much Fox bullshit...

  • It's Fox. It's fake. Looks like he was in California.

  • Comment removed

  • Let's go Rivera...on Main St.

  • Geraldo wouldn't be in Libya if cool people would listen. 227

  • The amazing ronoldo

  • It was probably fighting going on way off in the distance. They weren't shooting at the reporters. I love how Geraldo makes it all about him though. "Oh my gosh! They are firing at ME! Me, THE GREAT GERALDO!" Yeah, they aren't going to waste their ammunition on a few retards from Fox Noise.

  • i call fake

  • All stated by a barbecue munching chair sitting coward. Cenk is the biggest loser since Rush.

  • @FactChecking101

I love how the theme of your screen name is "fact checking", but your true contributions include character abasement, with absolutely no valid arguments or facts . C'mon, dude, you really still support faux news? Of course cenk has a liberal twist on things, but he's real, and by that I mean he uses logic and is rational in his assessment and reporting of the news.

  • @MillenialGenTYT Cenk omits facts, twists truths, obscures consequences, dodges subjects, character assassinates, uses straw man arguments, and, on occasion, just outright lies. It's not a "liberal twist", it's a 3 card monte that's fixed.

  • @FactChecking101

    Provide examples.

  • @FactChecking101

You could give evidence to back all those claims, but I guess I'm just old fashioned.

  • @FactChecking101 For someone that defends Fox Noise, calling Cenk the "Liar" is an incredibly empty accusation and failed attempt at "Character assassination." I'd love to see you point out Cenk's Lies.

By the way, "FactChecking101" seriously? You do not even check the facts of your own preferred news organization. If you mean by, one sided propaganda spewing zombie, then you are 100% accurate about "FactChecking101"

  • @mewimi How do I defend FOX news? I constantly look at media studies and the one Cenk is on is by far the worst. Fox is almost always 1st or 2nd in balanced reporting. Those are just the facts. I don't watch FOX. Cenk lies constantly and I point it out constantly. He omits facts and makes up his own.

  • @FactChecking101 All I do is hear you cry about Cenk, but where is your evidence?

  • @FactChecking101

Hmm, again, no facts, no proof.

  • RPG's and mortars? All I heard were gunshots. RPG's and mortars sound like SWOOSH BRABRBRBRBBRBRBBRRRRSHHH!!!

  • Smells fake and overdone.

  • Fake?

  • "get our co-ordinates" BS, he's just saying something that sounds good to the average idiot fox viewer, btw "he's" NOT "brave" Cenk, he's an IDIOT MEDIA WHORE, (wear a FUKN helmet u FOOL), fox is just using him to sell advertisements... what did we learn from Geraldo's report?, NOTHING

  • RPGs and Mortars? Oh help me..

  • Fox News = Fake, Fraud, Fugazy.

  • I'd be worried if I was as annoying as Geraldo and found myself surrounded by people with guns too.

  • Oh for the love of god. RPGs and mortars? More like small arms fire from less than five militants.

  • lol got to laugh at the "RPGs and mortars". Sounds like a few low caliber warning shots to shoo away trespassers.

  • I could have swore I saw a toyota prius in the video.....

  • LMAO... you mustached fuck.

RPGs... yeah. They'd waste that on a reporter. Didn't see any impact explosions, but ok... sure.

    You cheap, lying fuck.

  • Geraldo is the same guy who claimed to open Al Capone's vault, right?

Why has anybody taken anything seriously from him since then?

    This is Capital F, Fake

  • i cant take fox serious anymore..sorry.

  • @n8tivguitar it's about time

  • Hold on there just a god damn cotton pickin minute, doesn't Geraldo work for fox news? Need I say more? Well I will say more, and I say, "I smell bullshit". NEVER believe fox news, they are corrupt to the core and they spew their never ending lies to a mass of dumbed down people that can only count to three, well maybe most of them can count to three, but counting to twenty would be the max lol

  • Geraldo almost made that look good. But notice: no camera shots looking behind Geraldo. That's because you would be able to see his hotel in the backgrouond. The sound effects were most likely edited once the final video cut got to the studio.

  • I pray Gadhafi's murders accidentally shot his ass. A bullet to his *cough* groan and he's Geraldo Rivera the Eunuch.

  • Yes Geraldo Rivera, the whole Libyan crisis is all about you.

  • RPGs and MORTARS? HAAHHA anyone who's played Call of Duty knows that is bullshit!!

  • @SonicBoom91

Must have been those rapid-fire mortars that happen to fire 7.62mm x 39 bullets instead of mortar shells

  • @SonicBoom91

    UGH

  • @SonicBoom91 yes, because mentioning Call Of Duty when talking about real war makes you sound like an authority

  • It was staged.

  • If military were targeting he wouldn't be on Fox and Friends the next day. I doubt the Libyans even know or care who he is.

  • sweet stache man!

  • There's a difference between heroisim and stupidity.

  • I'll go a little further and say he and his crew could have found this firefight going on, held back a quarter mile or so and staged their own drama for the people of Fox News.

  • He doesn't even have a fucking body armor?!

  • I hear bullets being fired far away but I don't see anyone near them

  • What a bummer
